These gorgeous 3"-4" Caput Medusae Air Plant are super low maintenance and so gorgeous.

You will receive 1 air plant. 

Once the plant begins the blooming process, the center leaves will blush a pale pink. You may notice multiple flower bracts that grow from the center, displaying bright cherry red and yellow colors, which will bloom delicate purple and white flowers. Note: the plants you will receive are not currently in bloom. They are live plants and flourish with moderate light and a flexible watering cycle. Please see our air plant care below for all you need to know.

Air Plant Care:

Watering - Once a week completely submerge the air plant in water and allow to soak for 20-30 minutes. After soaking remove from water and gently shake off excess, then let dry. NOTE: it's very important to NOT let air plants remain wet for long periods of time.

Light - Indirect light is best, as air plants need bright light, but not direct sunlight. Any bright room, or brightly lite room would do best or in a shady outdoor are. These air plants even thrive in home/offices with bright lighting.

Display: Do NOT put your air plant in soil. You can display anywhere you can dream up, like terrariums, on drift wood, in vases, jars, shells, urchins, ect. Really the list goes on.

IMPORTANT: If it is below 50 degrees where you live, we strongly suggest you purchase our heat pack when ordering air plants Air plants need warm temperatures, without the heat pack they may not arrive healthy. Air plants makes for wonderful wedding favors, or the perfect wedding table decor statement to celebrate life with loved ones. Sparta the Greek warrior city state

In ancient Greece there was no equal to the military skills of the army of Sparta. They started training young men at the age of seven with exercises that made their weapons an extension of their body. This let them weild weapons with more precision than their enemies. This is just one of the fun facts found in this book about Sparta. As with many nations which put their focus on the strength of the military forces Sparta was constantly at war. They were suspicious of the motives of other city states and often attacked before they could be attacked. We can learn much by learning of the Greeks and their relationships with each other, their alliance systems and their causes of wars. Comparing national alliance systems and causes of wars today with those of the Greeks we can learn many lessons. We can see things they could have done to prevent the carnage and and use it to our advantage. This book also gives a glimpse into the living conditions of Sparta. It explains the social structure and the government structure of Sparta. It tells of the role of women in the Spartan culture. Many times we use the term Spartan to describe a minimalist life style. This book describes the living conditions of the Spartans showing where that term originated. All of the above and much more is well described in this book about the ancient city of Sparta. As a former history teacher I highly recommended this book to everyone. This should be available to all. It is a must read
