Add the Maxi-Cosi Peri™ 180° Rotating Infant Car Seat Base to your family’s second car so you can easily switch vehicles or caregivers. This base is compatible with Peri 180° (car seat sold separately) and features FlexiSpin, our 180° seat rotation technology, so getting babies in and out of their car seats is easy with less back strain.

TensionFix™ red-to-green visual indicators on the seat’s base allow you to see when your base is secured from the LATCH or vehicle belt. This convenient stay-in-car base is adjustable to ensure a proper fit in your vehicle, with a self-retracting one-click LATCH system. This base also features an integrated belt lock-off for easy and secure seat belt installation. The anti-rotation load leg limits back and forth movement for stability.

With an additional base, there’s no need to slow down for re-installation––just click in your car seat and be on your way.

Wonderful and short introduction to plate tectonics for those with little background in Earth science or mathematics
Format: Paperback
Molnar does an excellent job explaining key elements of plate tectonics. His book is understandable even for those with little background in geology or geophysics. Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form. He also questions the limitations of plate tectonics in explaining formation of such mountains. Understanding Molnar's very short book requires little mathematics. An ideal text for college science courses for non-science majors, and for those who want to understand the evolution of Earth's geological features and phenomena.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

Very short and very good
Format: eTextbook
I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland. I really liked revisiting the theory in light of the advances made since then
