A rare and highly sought after climbing aroid native to tropical regions of Mexico. Closely related to other iconic Monsteras, this species develops elongated foliage with dramatic fenestrations as it matures, creating the bold jungle aesthetic collectors love. Juvenile plants begin modestly, but given warmth, humidity, and vertical support, they can transform into breathtaking specimens with increasingly complex leaf structure over time. Its rarity and elegant mature foliage make it a prized addition for serious aroid enthusiasts looking for something beyond the more commonly seen Monsteras.
🌞 Light
Prefers bright indirect light. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sun which may scorch the foliage.
💧 Watering
Water when the upper portion of the soil begins to dry. Keep evenly moist but never soggy.
🕳️ Soil
Use a chunky well draining aroid mix with orchid bark, perlite, coco coir, and peat.

🪴 Repotting
Repot when roots begin filling the container. Provide a moss pole or climbing support for larger mature growth.
