Native to the arid regions of West Africa, ‘Golden Edge’ is ideal for apartments, offices, and commercial spaces, being a robust plant with minimal maintenance requirements. Additionally, it is recognized for its air-purifying ability, helping to reduce levels of toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene.
✔ Botanical characteristics
• Leaves: Long, rigid, with a transverse pattern in shades of green and continuous golden edges, arranged vertically.
• Stem: Underground, rhizomatous, promotes the formation of new plants and vegetative propagation.
• Flowers: Rare indoors; small, greenish-white, grouped on a thin, fragrant spike.
• Growth: Moderate, the plant forms compact clumps, with leaves that can exceed 80–100 cm under optimal conditions.

• Watering: Low. Water only when the substrate is completely dry. Avoid overwatering.
• Substrate: Well-drained, preferably a succulent mix (peat + sand + perlite).
• Fertilizing: Monthly during the growing season (spring-summer) with diluted fertilizer for green plants.
• Repotting: Every 2–3 years or when roots completely fill the pot.
