This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!

I’m Kiki, the Kyoto Serissa, and native to open woodlands and wet meadows in southeast Asia. I'm from the genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. I sport little white flowers and bloom often throughout the year, which is how I got my nickname, ‘Tree of a Thousand Stars.’

Full disclosure: I am a bit on the finicky side and am best suited for someone with good plant experience and a lot of patience. I don't like to be moved around too much as that can cause me to stress out by yellowing my leaves. I also prefer for my conditions to be just right. I will yellow and drop leaves if my soil is too wet or too dry. I will also yellow and drop leaves if i'm not getting enough sun or if I'm getting too much sun.

I will thrive indoors in bright indirect light but also like being outdoors during the spring and summer. Keep me in temperatures above 50 ̊F all year. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for about 5 minutes. I will suck up water through my pot’s drainage hole. Do this about once every 7-10 days, more when very hot/dry or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter.

Symbolism: The Serissa's Wood element symbolizes growth and transformation, ultimately nurturing resilience, adaptation, and personal growth. Its Chi, 'Zhen,' stands for constancy and stability, with a strong power to cultivate an environment of strength and protection against negative energy.

Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.

Pot Size*    XLarge: 7"D x 5"H
Total Size:   16"W x 19"H

*as no two handmade pots are the same, pot dimensions are best approximations

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.

Format: Paperback
Used this for a Patho class and thought it was a great resource. My group had hypertension and it was really good about giving an overview of the disease without overwhelming you with information. Some of the studies were obvious as to why the disorder occurred but in those cases it helped link body systems and show interactions.
