- Giving your yucca plant the right kind of soil is somewhat of a balancing act. Yuccas do not need high quality soil, but it needs to be well-draining. However, it still needs to be heavy enough to hold the plant upright. Yucca plant soil should also retain water well. Try a 3:1 mixture of sand and peat in your container.
- Yucca plants prefer to be on the dry side and are considered drought-tolerant plants, which makes sense given their desert origins. In general, allow about the top half of the soil to become dry before watering. More specific watering requirements will depend on how much light your yucca plant receives. In lower light conditions, water your plant less; in brighter light conditions, water your plant a bit more.
- Propagating your yucca plant can be done in two main ways: through division or through pups. Propagation is best done in fall. To propagate by division, separate the rhizomes beneath the soil and plant your new yucca plant in appropriate soil and place in a sunny location. Keep the plant lightly moist until roots are established.
- Yucca plants are quite pest-resistant, another way that these plants are low-maintenance. Spider mites do not like yuccas.

Coppertone Waterbabies SPF 50 has been verified as SPF 50 by an independent testing agency and has been rated number one by the large Consumer product Report organization. Surprisingly many top name products do not provide the sun protection that they advertise.
The spray comes out thick, it is essentially the lotion version that is sprayed from a can, but with the rub of the hands becomes transparent and wipes on easily. All sun protection products are supposed to be sprayed on the hands and then applied, even those that spray clear. I've worn waterbabies every day for the past month and I typically spend 2 hours a day in direct sun, sometimes longer.
It is sweat resistant without being uncomfortable to wear. I say resistant because when working outside in humid weather I can become quite sweaty and will wipe my brow. The majority of the lotion remains on my skin instead of being transferred to my sleeve. Comfort and retained application are very important to me.
Several reviewers complain about the "baby" smell. It doesn't smell so much like babies as it does regular old suntan lotion. Personally I don't really care so much about how it smells as long as it doesn't smell bad like some other expensive sun protection products do. What matters is that it works like it says it will.
Like many other products it doesn't taste very good. This is probably a good thing as it keeps people and babies from eating the stuff.

Perfect for sensitive skin

I love this sunscreen. This was my first time buying after always using another company but recently my skin has started breaking out after using my old sunscreen. This sunscreen not only protects my skin but also does not give me a rash or irritate my skin.

This stuff WORKS.
Style: SPF 50 Lotion, Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am pale, I have rosacea, and I live in the south. That is a terrible combination. But this sunscreen has saved my butt (well, actually it’s saved my face). It doesn’t sting at, and when I accidentally got it into my mouth it didn’t leave a weird aftertaste (I smear it over my lips).
This is my first mineral sunscreen, so I can only compare it to chemical sunscreens. But so far I think it lasts longer (and holds up to sweat better) than any other sunscreen I’ve used. It even survived a day at the water park with minimal reapplication.
Now I will be honest, it leaves a white cast. But I don’t even bother trying to rub it all the way in. I just go out looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost.
(Also it scored well on consumer reports, but the baby version scored even better, so I think I’ll try that next)
