Plant in compost-enriched, moist soil with good drainage, where it won’t dry out, in a full sun to part shade location. Plant bulbs in groups of three for best effect. A compost mulch will help keep roots cool. Long lasting and elegant as cut flowers; remove the stamens to avoid staining and take no more than 1/3 of the stem to protect the plant.
