A beautiful, bushy bush loved for its gorgeous, bright whiteness on gorgeous, rich greenness, Breynia's known as the Snow Bush for the way that whiteness settles, gently dusting the emerald and sometimes rosy pink, oval leaves giving it the appearance of having been in a light, fleeting, passing snowfall. Breynia Nivosa was first noticed in the Western Pacific Isles in 1776 and has really been in cultivation a long time since then. A beautiful, bushy bush loved for its gorgeous, bright whiteness on gorgeous, rich greenness, Breynia's known as the Snow Bush for the way that whiteness settles, gently dusting the emerald and sometimes rosy pink, oval leaves giving it the appearance of having been in a light, fleeting, passing snowfall. Appearances aside, these bushys prefer warmer, more tropical climates. Such a vigorous grower, up to around 3', Snow Bush loves some gentle pruning to keep its shape, whatever you want that to be, and the cut branches are lovely in flower arrangements, setting off all those colorful flowers. Stems pruned off are simple to propagate, just stick the ends a few inches into moist soil and make a plastic tent (or a terrarium) and wait til they root in their steamy little mini rainforest.

Quick Care Guide:

• Water - Medium (3):  Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light - Med/High (4):  Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
• Difficulty - Med/High (4):  A little more finicky than most. Requires some extra care.
