The rare Monstera Burle Marx Flame houseplant is a cultivar of the Monstera deliciosa plant species, known for its unique and striking leaves. All of our Burle Marx Flame's have fenestrated leaves and are very well rooted. Here are some care requirements for this plant:

Light: The Monstera Burle Marx Flame prefers bright but indirect light. It can also tolerate low light conditions, but direct sunlight can scorch its leaves - so it's best to protect it from prolonged direct sun exposure.

Water: This Monstera likes to have consistently moist soil, but not waterlogged. Watering once a week should be enough, but you may need to adjust based on the environment (Ex. brighter light and increased airflow will require more frequent watering).

Soil: The Monstera Burle Marx Flame prefers a very well-draining soil mix that is rich in organic matter. A standard potting mix or (one that we prefer) a mix of peat moss, perlite, worm castings, activated charcoal and orchid bark will work very well.

Humidity: The Monstera Burle Marx Flame prefers a relatively high humidity, however it can adapt to average household humidity levels over time. If the air is dry, you can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, adding a humidifier or creating a pebble/leca tray.

Temperature: This tropical plant prefers warm temperatures that mimic it's natural environment and can tolerate temperatures as low as 60°F (15°C), but it is best to keep it above 70°F (21°C) if possible.

Fertilizer: The Monstera Burle Marx Flame can be fertilized every 2-4 weeks with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. However, we like to fertilize with half dilution more often. This is also dependent on other factors such as worm casting or other rich organic matter in your substrate.
It's also important to note that this plant is a climber and can grow quite large fenestrated leaves, so be sure to provide it with a sturdy support (plank/moss pole) and enough space for it to grow.
