Portulacaria afra ‘Medio-picta’, also known as Midstripe Rainbow Bush or Spekboom, is an easy-to-grow succulent with bright, eye-catching foliage. Its small, round green leaves feature a creamy white stripe down the center, creating a fresh variegated look. The stems are pink to burgundy and can grow long and branch freely, adding beautiful color contrast in pots and arrangements.
This plant can grow as a small shrub over time and responds well to pruning to keep its shape. It may produce tiny pink flowers when mature. It thrives in bright light with well-draining soil and infrequent watering. Propagation is simple from stem cuttings, which root quickly and help create a fuller plant. -

Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.

Very sturdy

When we go camping, we use these Dixie plates a lot. They’re very sturdy and the cleanup is easy Peezy. The design is bright and cheerful are easy to use. It’s the great size for dinner plates and they also have smaller size plates as well as bowls. They’re very durable and we’ll hold up on heavy foods. We always keep a good supply on hand because when you’re on vacation, you don’t want to wash the dishes. They are great you’re using them and you throw them away or you can burn them.

Thick, sturdy, hard almost like cardboard

These are sturdy and thick. They held a steak and baked potato tonight just fine - did this to try sturdiness and leak. It is one of the best paper plates I've found, so I highly recommend. I got the blue pattern and they're beautiful. By the way, these are big paper plates, not the little thin ones-- sturdy.
