Prodiamine 65 WDG - Pre-Emergent Herbicide (generic Barricade) is a pre-emergent weed control designed to stop weeds in the lawn, such as crabgrass, annual bluegrass (poa annua), bittercress, chickweed, and henbit. This is a dry product you mix in water to make a liquid to apply via backpack/battery sprayer.

Product Description:
Prodiamine 65 WDG is a professionally formulated pre-emergent to be mixed in water and sprayed out as a liquid. Yard Mastery is proud to bring this to market, specifically in a smaller bottle for DIYers.

Most DIYers use this product in spring to stop crabgrass. Crabgrass is an annual grassy weed that germinates in spring, grows lime green and large during summer, then, towards the later fall, drops seeds. The following spring, the process starts all over again. This is why crabgrass is called an “annual” grassy weed. The good news is that it can be stopped very effectively using this product.

The best time to apply Prodiamine is in the spring or fall, as soil temperatures are between 55F to 70F. This will give you approximately 3 months of pre-emergence protection.

Application Information:

  • For cool and warm-season lawns, our recommendation is 2 applications in the spring if your target is crabgrass. Check out our FREE Pre-Emergent Guide for specific details.
  • The best time to apply Prodiamine is in the spring or fall, as soil temperatures are between 55F to 70F. This will give you approximately 3 months of pre-emergence protection. Download our FREE app it will tell you exactly when your soil temps cross these milestones.

DO NOT use Prodiamine if you are seeding or reseeding, as it will keep your seed from germinating.

Prodiamine 65 WDG should be applied via battery-powered sprayer. We do NOT recommend applying via a hose-end sprayer.

We recommend weighing this product on a scale to be accurate, and grams will be the easiest. See the following table for the application rates we recommend. The product must be watered in within 48 hours; the sooner the better. ½” of water from irrigation or rainfall.

Nice heavy leather with a pebbled look - limited storage

This is a pebbled leather wallet from Carhartt. I got the brown version and it is a sturdy thicker type of leather than my other wallets. It has a real leather smell and I like the stitching on it as well as the branded carhartt logo on the front lower corner. Things to be aware of that I wish were a bit better. The wallet is on the small side of the spectrum, the area where you keep paper money is just the one compartment, there is no divider like many wallets have. Also, the left inside of the wallet has the clear window where you usually put your photo-id . In this window it is actually a brown mesh rather than a clear plastic so if showing an id you will likely have to take it out each time instead of flashing it. Also, there is not an area behind the "pocket" for the license and the right side just has 3 credit card slots. These are not necessarily bad things but if you are used to carrying around a lot of cards this one may be a challenge. The quality and thickness of the leather give it a nice western look. I will use this wallet when I dont have to carry too much. If you carry a lot of cash this isn't the best but most these days just need a couple of credit cards and a license and this works well for that.

If you prefer a softer feel, applying some leather conditioner or Neatsfoot oil helps break it in nicely. The layout is simple and practical. Three card slots on one side, an ID holder on the other, and a full-length pocket for cash. It keeps things minimal, which is great if you don’t want a bulky wallet sticking out of your pocket. Rugged, Practical, and Built to Last

I’ve been using this Carhartt full grain leather wallet for a while now, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from the brand—tough, reliable, and no-nonsense. The leather has a really nice feel right out of the box, and over time it’s developed a great patina that gives it that broken-in, worn-in look without feeling worn out. I work in a pretty hands-on environment, so my wallet takes a beating being in and out of pockets, around dust, dirt, and everything else—and this one holds up without any issues. The stitching is solid, and the leather doesn’t feel like it’s going to crack or fall apart like some cheaper wallets I’ve had in the past. I went with the bifold style, and it has plenty of room for cards, cash, and IDs without feeling bulky. It strikes a good balance between capacity and comfort in your pocket. Everything stays secure, and it doesn’t stretch out too quickly either. Overall, if you want a durable, good-looking wallet that actually gets better with age, this is a solid choice. Definitely feels like something you’ll have for years.

Unless you're buying it for a child, I'd pass on this one.

Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with this item. It's literally just 2 pieces of leather sewn together. Very flimsy, and all edges are raw/unfinished. The reason it's still getting a couple star rating is because it is a good size for a standard wallet, and it would be comfortable as it is so floppy, but you could probably expect to end up with bent or broken credit cards because of that. Overall I'd say your just paying for the name on this one and I'd pass unless you can get it for super cheap, for there's no way this thing is going to last the test of time.
