LOCATION AND LIGHT:

Like the vast majority of succulents, Sedum grow their best in BRIGHT DIRECT LIGHT, but will also survive in BRIGHT INDIRECT LIGHT. South-facing or West-facing windows make ideal homes for these water-retaining plants, which will not tolerate low light conditions. 

WATER:

Like cacti, succulents thrive in dry, gritty soil. They’re sustained largely through the water retained by their leaves, and thus need less frequent water than many other plants. Succulents are sensitive to root rot and will not tolerate excess moisture, so allow all soil in the pot to dry out completely between waterings.
