Sowing Guide

Seeds require a period of cold stratification
Mix the seeds with some damp compost in a ziplock bag
Use rainwater rather tap water wherever possible
Place in fridge for 8-12 weeks
After cold stratification spread the seeds on a pot or tray of damp compost
Cover with about 2cm of damp compost
Carry on growing in the pot - do not transplant
Established plants can go out into your chosen water body in spring
Do not remove the plants from the pot - place the entire pot under the water as you would with water-lily in a pond etc
