Description:
Dracaena braunii, also known as Lucky Bamboo, is a popular indoor plant that adds a touch of greenery to any room. Its slender, bamboo-like stems and delicate leaves create an attractive architectural form, making it a perfect choice for modern interiors. It is also believed to bring good luck and prosperity to its owners, according to feng shui.
Plant Care:
- Light: Dracaena braunii prefers low to medium light, but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Lucky Bamboo does best in consistently moist soil. Do not let the soil dry out completely, but also avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
- Humidity: Dracaena braunii prefers average humidity levels, but can tolerate low humidity.
- Fertilizer: Lucky Bamboo does not require frequent fertilizing. Feed it once every two to three months with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
- Pruning: Prune the stems as needed to maintain the desired height and shape. Cut just above a node, where new growth will emerge.
