Epipremnum aureum 'Global Green' is a recent and highly sought-after variety of the classic pothos, known for its rich green foliage variegated with subtle shades. The heart-shaped leaves feature a unique blend of light and dark greens, creating a mosaic effect that brings a fresh, modern feel to any interior. This climbing or trailing plant is ideal for adding a natural, calming touch to your living space.

Origin: Epipremnum aureum is native to the Solomon Islands, but the 'Global Green' variety is a cultivated selection that showcases unique variegation characteristics. Like other Epipremnums, it adapts easily to indoor growing conditions.

Growth: Epipremnum aureum 'Global Green' is fast-growing, especially when grown in adequate light conditions. It can reach several meters in length, making it an excellent choice for hanging baskets or climbing supports. This plant is also easy to prune to control its shape and encourage bushier growth.

Flowers: Indoors, Epipremnum aureum 'Global Green' rarely flowers. When it does, the flowers are small and insignificant, appearing as spathes. However, this plant is primarily valued for its foliage rather than its flowers.

Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light. It also tolerates low light conditions, but its colors will be more vibrant in moderate to strong light. Direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent leaf burn.

Watering: Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Epipremnum 'Global Green' prefers slightly moist soil, but it is important not to allow water to stagnate, which can cause root rot. In winter, reduce watering while maintaining some moisture in the soil.

Substrate: A well-draining substrate is recommended for this plant. A houseplant potting mix, enriched with perlite, ensures good drainage and helps prevent excessive moisture problems.

Toxicity: Epipremnum aureum 'Global Green' is toxic to pets, especially cats and dogs, if ingested. It can cause irritation of the mouth, throat, and stomach, as well as vomiting. It is therefore advisable to keep it out of reach of pets.

A little longer than the filter the mechanic used last time, and that is a good thing.
At first I was concerned that this filter is about 3/16" longer than whatever one was there before, but it went in perfectly, and I realized I was getting extra filtering ability over the old one. Pleased. Volvo S60 2001.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-
