Maturity: 60 days

An very old heirloom variety dating back to 1770's and first commercially introduced by D. M. Ferry & Company in 1885.  Often grown for the beautiful purple/red blossoms and shoots to, Dwarf Grey Sugar will decorate your salad, cakes, or even used in floral arrangements.  Pale green pods are best eaten when flat as a snow pea under 2" and have a sweet, crisp flavor.  Plants are not dwarf, often reaching over 5' high in Alaska, but the pods are best picked flat before peas develop. Excellent attractant for pollinators, beautiful addition to flower beds, and a favorite in stir fry.

FROM THE FARMERS

*Favorite* of Nick. Summer stir fries wouldn't be complete without Dwarf Grey Sugar and you can often find Nick munching away on these in the field. Leah finds them a bit fibrous but uses the flowers, shoots, tendrils, and foliage in anything and everything she can. These peas are a true heirloom: prolific, reliable, and classic in flavor. They can be technically eaten at all stages but will require removing strings once peas develop. We haven't found the plants to be dwarf at all in the north and stake them like all our other peas.

Sturdy, supportive, wish they were a bit more breathable
Bought these for my seven year old after he tore through a cheaper pair of tennis shoes in a month. These have held up very well, still looking decent after several months of heavy use, just a few minor scuffs. The fit is great and they are very comfortable for him. My only complaint is that they are not as breathable as I would expect and my son’s feet get hot and sweaty very easily inside. Overall, they’ve been very durable and I would buy again.

Favorite shoe for my picky kid
Size: 3.5 Big Kid, Color: Navy/Red
My picky child loved these. Worn a hole in them because he lived in them even when his feet grew and didn’t want to give them up. Finally convinced him to give them up. Now looking for his next favorite shoe. These were not Merrill brand like the name states. These were Saucony Kinvara.

HOLES IN 6 MONTHS. Huge disappointment, what happened to Saucony??
Size: 2.5 Big Kid, Color: Pink/Navy, Size: 2.5 Big Kid, Color: Pink/Navy
What has happened to Saucony kids shoes?? I've been purchasing this brand for all my kids' shoes since they were toddlers, my oldest is now 10.5 and she's had this pair for six months and they have huge holes in both the uppers. My kid hasn't even fully grown INTO this size, forget about growing out! I really expect more from this brand, I thought it was worth the extra cost you pay versus no name brands on Amazon. What a disappointment.

Cute and practical
Got these for my 8 year old for the school year. They fit as expected with good traction on the bottom. She's had them about a month and they are still holding up well. She loves them because they look cute and I love them because they keep her supported all day long!
