About Echeveria 'Joan Daniel'

How to care for Echeveria 'Joan Daniel'
Sun/Location: Like other soft succulents, Echeveria 'Joan Daniel' is not a cold hardy plant, and can't survive outdoors in cold winter. Besides summer, this succulent prefers full sunlight to form its best colors and shapes. If you're looking to provide enough light for your succulents during the winter months, you can do a few things. One option is to place your plants near a south-facing window, as this will give them the most amount of sunlight possible. If needed, you can also apply the artificial light designed explicitly for succulents. Ensure to keep the grow light on for at least 6-8 hours a day, and adjust the distance between the light to prevent burning. Soil/Pot: Echeveria succulents prefer well-draining soil that allows excess water to drain away quickly. Add pumice, perlite, gritty rocks, and other soil addition to create adequate cactus soil. Soft succulents need good air circulation to prevent moisture from building up on the leaves. Try to avoid overcrowding them with other plants.
Watering: Live succulents require little watering but don't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak-and-dry method. Water thoroughly when the potting soil is bone dry.
