The Fire gene is an incomplete dominant mutation, meaning that a single copy of the gene (heterozygous) produces a visually distinct animal. When two Fire Crested Geckos are bred together, the resulting offspring will follow a predictable genetic ratio:

• 25% Super Fire (Black Eyed Leucistic) – Homozygous for Fire
• 50% Fire (Heterozygous for Leucistic)
• 25% Normal Crested Geckos (No Fire gene)
