Echeveria 'Autumn Flame' is a mesmerizing hybrid known for its large, ruffled rosettes and intense pigmentation. The leaves are thick and slightly crinkled at the edges, resembling flickering flames. While it may start with hints of blue-green or teal in the center, the outer leaves blush into a deep, glowing crimson or burnt orange when exposed to bright light.
This cultivar is a modern hybrid derived from the Echeveria genus, which is primarily native to the semi-desert regions of Mexico and Central America. 'Autumn Flame' was specifically bred to maximize the "stress colors" that succulents produce in response to sunlight and cool temperatures.
The true magic of 'Autumn Flame' is its visual texture. The ruffled, carunculated (bumpy) edges of the leaves catch the light in a way that flat succulents don't. As the seasons change, the plant transforms from a muted jewel tone to a brilliant, fiery red, making it a dynamic centerpiece for any collection.

Full sun to very bright indirect light. It needs high light levels to maintain its "flame" colors; otherwise, it may fade to green.
Well-draining cactus mix. Thrives in a gritty substrate that allows roots to breathe and prevents moisture buildup.
Low. Use the "soak and dry" method. Water only when the soil is completely dry to the touch. -
9a – 11b. It is sensitive to frost and must be moved indoors or covered if temperatures drop near 0°C.

Beware of the off-gassing smell.
As much as I like the durable case, the ONLY complaint I have is the off-gassing. The case works great and I have no problems with it. But the smell is something terrible. My entire travel case smells horrible after coming back from a client just because this case has been transported within it. I had my coat on top of it one day and then my coat stunk. I thought if I aired it outside for a bit it would clear it up. When I take it back inside and use it again, it continues to smell. It is so offensive that I am ordering something from another company. I CANNOT say it smells similar to cigarette smoke, but can say that it smells like it has been in a smoker's home for the last 30 years and you just can't get the smell out, no matter what I do. And I tried to spray it with fresheners etc. Nothing worked. I can't use it because of this. I rated as a 2 only because of the smell. As mentioned earlier, the case itself is perfect and performs as it should.

Sturdy case large enough for most keyboards, with space for a mouse.
This is a great case that will protect most keyboards very well. My keyboard and mouse set is from Jelly Comb, and they fit well. It’s very spacious inside. In fact, my keyboard is thinner than what this case is designed for, so I had to pad the keyboard so it won’t move around too much, but I don’t consider this a bad thing. Now I know that if I get a larger keyboard, I can still use the same case. I also like the way it’s designed for a mouse. There are two pouches on top that indent into the case, so you can easily fit a mouse or cables in there and they won’t protrude too much. This case is perfect, and I can’t recommend it enough.
