This innovative woven polypropylene material maintains an extra 8 degrees of warmth but still breathes and allows 68 percent of sunlight through. With that added bit of sunlight protection, this frost cover can also help prevent plants from scorching in hot summer sun.
The GreenStalk Frost Protection Cover is produced in the USA using the highest quality materials available and with product longevity first in mind. It is made to withstand abuse from the weather over time and to resist the critters who visit the garden. It's sewn with very strong stitching using outdoor-rated, UV stable thread and bindings. The sturdy, marine-style molded zipper, which runs from top to bottom for easy watering and maintenance, maintains a watertight seal. And the grommets (for optional drawstring use [string not included]) resist rust. It features a circular top seam to prevent pulling on plants and is easy to maneuver when tending and harvesting plants.
For best results, use the GreenStalk Frost Protection Cover with at least one GreenStalk Plant Support (sold separately) to keep the fabric lifted and away from touching the plants. This frost cover can also be used to protect your shrubs and trees.
