Lily of the Valley Tree, also commonly known as Sourwood, is a tree in the blueberry family (Ericaceae), best known for its fragrant and graceful lantern/bell-shaped flowers which produce a nectar beloved by bees. Sourwood honey is considered one of the finest honeys in the world. Native to eastern North America, from Pennsylvania south to northwest Florida and west to southern Illinois. It's most commonly found in the lower reaches of the Appalachian Mountains and frequently occurs in oak-heath forests. Like most of its cousins, it requires acidic soil to thrive.

Juice from lily of the valley tree's blooms is used to make a tasty jelly, and the leaves have been used as a laxative, and a treatment for asthma, diarrhea, fevers, kidney and bladder ailments, excessive menstruation, and indigestion. The bark has been chewed to treat mouth ulcers. The young leaves can be eaten raw and have a pleasing sour taste (the tree is also sometimes called "sorrel tree" for this reason). The shoots were used by Cherokee and Catawba people to make arrowshafts.

GROWING TIPS: Hardy Zones 5-8. Perhaps surprisingly, this species requires no stratification, but seedlings should be not be allowed to dry out until they have at least four or five true leaves. Seeds are very small. Surface sow, spreading seeds thinly over your prepared medium's surface (peat with some humus is a good choice). Gently tamp seed into soil surface and water by misting so they don't float away. Seed needs light to germinate so don’t cover seed. A clear plastic cover to maintain humidity will improve germination and increase the likelihood of seedling survival. Light should be indirect. Seeds germinate best at room temperature or slightly higher. Should begin to germinate within two weeks or so.

Absolutely The Best!!
Flavor Name: Rabbit, Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Our dog (Aussie/Border Collie) has a sensitive stomach and these work great for her! She loves all the flavors (especially salmon and turkey & veggies) and at only about a calorie each, it's pretty much impossible for her to over eat. These work GREAT for training treats, too!

OMG-Sudsy Dog Shampoo Bar!
Sudsy created suds, and it got my stinky dog smelling good after one wash! My pooch has diabetes and is prone to yeasty skin so she smells bad due to that. After the bath, I put a powder called Coat Defense on her lower back where the yeast mainly is for extra care. She is very comfortable now. I will buy Sudsy again when needed. I tried many different shampoos on her prior, and none of them worked well getting rid of the stink like Sudsy. It rinsed easily too. Thank you Sudsy! Update: I wanted to report that her skin was a beautiful, normal, pink color after using this bar. I discovered this when I shaved a portion of her fur to adhere her glucose sensor. Before using Sudsy, her skin always had a yellowish coating due to yeast no matter what shampoo, medicated or not, that I used on her. It was such a thrill and relief to see her beautiful clear skin after ONE use of Sudsy! I'm a life long fan now.

Excellent environmentally friendly pet shampoo
Scent: Alpine Meadow
Smells good and lathers really well. Makes it easy to get lather onto the legs and not too much in certain spots. It smells good too.my dog’s fur is really soft after it dries. I store it in a plastic container to keep it dry and not dissolving.

A great product!
Scent: Alpine Meadow
I love this shampoo. The scent is mild but really nice. The lather is great and it cleanses really well. It rinses off easily as well. I initially purchased one bar to give this a try and now I'm going to add several to my cart!
