A true symbol of Alaska’s beauty is its state flower. Delicate and bright petals of the Forget Me Not are a welcome sight in Alaska. This uniquely colored blossom varies from sky blue to shades of violet and sometimes pink. According to one Native American Legend, wildflowers are prayers transformed into flowers and sent back to earth.
