Day of the Dead marigolds, are used to decorate ofrendas and altars at Dia de Muertos / Day of the Dead in Mexico as their bright colour and strong scent is thought to attract one's loved ones who have passed on, to the altar. Obviously these ones have no smell haha, but they are very vividly colourful.
Each flower measures: 3.5in wide, 2in high, and they come with a 12in long green stalk.
The flowers come folded to protect them perfectly while shipping. When you receive them, just uncurl the wire to straighten it, and fluff out the flower head by sliding a nail between the petals in a spiral motion. Then either place it in a vase or straight on your altar.
The flowers can also be connected at the ends to make garlands; just make a hook shape at the bottom and hook it around the head of the next flower.
