Anthurium guatemalan x luxurians combines standout characteristics from two remarkable parent plants. The Anthurium guatemalan parent features large, elongated leaves with clearly defined, gently impressed veins radiating from the leaf's centre. Its foliage is smooth, slightly glossy, and medium green, growing on tall, upright stems. The Anthurium luxurians is renowned for its dramatically quilted, heavily textured foliage. These leaves are distinctly heart-shaped, glossy, and deep green with prominent veins, giving a highly puckered appearance. They are thick, leathery, and often emerge darker in colour, gradually maturing to vibrant green.
These plants are seedlings grown from seeds produced by a large-leaf A guatemalan pollinated with pure A luxurians pollen.
