Or use it at the top of the stairs with included hardware (required for safe top-of-stairway installation). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included): drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape. Note: If the red zip tie is removed before stated in the instructions, the gate will appear bent until it is mounted to the doorframe with bolts tightened upon proper installation.
