Some plants are superstars! The Cheyenne Spirit Coneflower (Echinacea x 'Cheyenne Spirit') will become a showy standout in your garden design, no matter where you use it. Each plant will develop beautiful, coordinating blooms in a wide color range.

Enjoy bold flowers in rich shades from scarlet to tomato red. You'll see purple tones next to lighter rose pink. Bright orange-yellow, golden-yellow, and creamy white act as "punctuation" to brighten the display. The blooms also feature a range of forms. Look closely and you'll see blooms with wide petals, some that are narrow, quilled, and even rolled.

Perhaps these are subtle differences, but the overall effect will really enhance the charm of this very special plant. Cheyenne Spirit is a selection that gives you an amazing amount of visual interest. You'll have free-flowering blooms from mid-summer through frost. That's months of color!

Cheyenne Spirit provides a plentiful nectar source for honeybees and butterflies. Best of all? Nothing could be easier! These low-maintenance plants develop multiple branches for a lush, bushy look. These native Echinacea hybrids do well in most of the country with very little care. Tough, vigorous Coneflowers tolerate even "rookies" and busy gardeners. These are also vivid gifts, and we can't think of a nicer housewarming present!

Be sure to leave the spent flowers standing at the end of the season. The dried seed heads will catch light, fluffy snow in the wintertime, and local birds will get to peck at the seeds.

Planting and Application:

This kind of hardy perennial just gets better and better year after year! The rich mixed tones of Cheyenne Spirit Coneflower make people happy. Repeat the use of Cheyenne Spirit in an established garden border as edging or a varied ribbon of color along a driveway!

It partners beautifully with other Prairie-style perennials. For a very modern take on a classic design, line a rectangular planting bed with native low-growing evergreens. Fill the center with Cheyenne Spirit, instead of the traditional annual bedding plants or Roses. Plant them next to Ornamental Grasses as a perfect complement.

Grow these sun-loving Coneflowers in Pollinator gardens, Cutting borders, Cottage gardens, in mixed perennial borders, Use three or more of these perennial plants together in a loose triangle. The more, the merrier! You'll create a very special garden feature with ever-changing colors for you to enjoy.

Plant them in a cheery ring around your mailbox. Include them in a grouped series of pots on your balcony or deck. Use these in a sunny spot near your front door and get ready for compliments. Add as a "Thriller" to exterior containers, or grow them in the ground. Use them in big half-whiskey barrels flanking on either side of your garden gate. Run them all along a terraced outdoor entertainment area for quite a vivid spectacle!

Create a grand entrance with a narrow planting bed running the length of your front walk. Space these 12 inches apart in a zigzagging planting pattern. Measure from the center of one to the center of the next for an evenly spaced massed planted maximum impact. Expand the appeal with a larger en masse planting by adding more plants in additional rows. Use mulch between plants and keep new beds weeded.

These excel in the sun and excel in tougher conditions, Xeric gardens and Rock gardens. Coneflowers have deep roots that thrive in drought but also make them have increased survivability for fire! Include these plants in your fire-wise landscaping plan with other hot-toned flowers!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

These herbaceous Perennials will thrive in hot, sunny spots across most of the United States. Give them a little afternoon shade in the warmest Zones. Once their long, Prairie roots are well-established in your soil, they'll become waterwise. When your Cheyenne Spirit Coneflowers are newly planted, you'll want to pay close attention to watering. It won't take long before they are well-established in your yard.

Use Nature Hills Root Booster when planting and add supplemental water during long periods of drought, or extremely hot weather. Yes, these are rugged plants. But...you'll get more blooms over the growing season with a regular schedule of regular water. Top dress with a bit of compost and add mulch regularly to improve the health of your soil over time.

Cut the blooms after they are fully open. Use them in lovely flower arrangements indoors. This is a great way to deadhead your plants. You'll encourage a new flush of blooms, and decorate your home at the same time. Deadhead spent flowers regularly for the same reason. In early spring, snip the dried stalks to an inch above ground level.

  • Easily Grown in Full Sun
  • Widely Adaptable Any Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate Moisture Needs - Drought Tolerant Once Established
  • Deadhead For Rebloom & Prune Down in Spring
  • Cold Hardy, Heat & Humidity Tolerant

Cheyenne Spirit is a wonderful representation of the hues and flower forms of our beloved native Coneflower. You'll need to move quickly if you see this extraordinary selection in stock. Order Cheyenne Spirit Coneflower from Nature Hills today!

Sturdy, supportive, wish they were a bit more breathable
Bought these for my seven year old after he tore through a cheaper pair of tennis shoes in a month. These have held up very well, still looking decent after several months of heavy use, just a few minor scuffs. The fit is great and they are very comfortable for him. My only complaint is that they are not as breathable as I would expect and my son’s feet get hot and sweaty very easily inside. Overall, they’ve been very durable and I would buy again.

Favorite shoe for my picky kid
Size: 3.5 Big Kid, Color: Navy/Red
My picky child loved these. Worn a hole in them because he lived in them even when his feet grew and didn’t want to give them up. Finally convinced him to give them up. Now looking for his next favorite shoe. These were not Merrill brand like the name states. These were Saucony Kinvara.

HOLES IN 6 MONTHS. Huge disappointment, what happened to Saucony??
Size: 2.5 Big Kid, Color: Pink/Navy, Size: 2.5 Big Kid, Color: Pink/Navy
What has happened to Saucony kids shoes?? I've been purchasing this brand for all my kids' shoes since they were toddlers, my oldest is now 10.5 and she's had this pair for six months and they have huge holes in both the uppers. My kid hasn't even fully grown INTO this size, forget about growing out! I really expect more from this brand, I thought it was worth the extra cost you pay versus no name brands on Amazon. What a disappointment.

Cute and practical
Got these for my 8 year old for the school year. They fit as expected with good traction on the bottom. She's had them about a month and they are still holding up well. She loves them because they look cute and I love them because they keep her supported all day long!
