The Anthurium Zizou features bright green leaves with soft purple blooms.

Fun fact: Less than two hundred years ago, anthurium flowers looked completely different compared to today. They had plain-looking flowers which grew untouched by man deep in the Amazonian rain forests of South America. They were introduced to Hawaii in the late 1800s, but it wasn’t until the 1940s when they started resembling the flowers we see today. The 1940s were when enthusiasts learned how to selectively breed anthuriums to produce the dazzling varieties of flowers we are familiar with.

My dog loves these! I have purchased several. The size is perfect for my 25-pound cockapoo. It’s durable and she chews them for months until they’re prickly and not as fun anymore. One thing to note is that my dog does chew off tiny bits from the bone. She usually spits them out but has swallowed some bits here and there. There hasn’t been a situation with the swallowed pieces, but I always monitor her as she uses it and would suggest that for other pet owners also. Safety is always key, but we have never had any problems in the two years I’ve been buying them.
