This project can be made in an afternoon, and is a great introduction to basic colourwork; swap the colours around, adjust the length of the strings, or make more of a feature of the tails by adding feathers or shells. If you need to make a bigger planter, simply keep adding rows so it grows longer and repeat the rows of colourwork.

This project is designed by Victoria Haynes and was first published in Mollie Makes magazine issue 50.
