Ever wanted a plant that looks like it popped out of a fairy tale? Meet Pretty in Pink, otherwise known as Fittonia 'Pink'. This spreading evergreen perennial dazzles with its deep-green leaves and vibrant pink veins that seem to come straight out of an artist’s palette. Who needs silvery-white when pink is this fabulous? Let's face it, even the tiny white to off-white flowers feel like nature’s confetti thrown in celebration of this dazzling beauty.

Benefits:

  • Air-Purifying: Helps to filter and clean the air in your space.
  • Compact Size: Perfect for small spaces, desks, or shelves.
  • Colorful Foliage: The intricate pink veining adds a splash of color.
  • Pet Friendly: Safe for your furry friends to be around.

Care Instructions:

Pretty in Pink thrives in bright, indirect light but can also tolerate lower light conditions. Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid waterlogging it—it hates pruney roots! A monthly feed with a diluted houseplant fertilizer during the growing season will keep it looking fabulous. Mist it occasionally to mimic its native humid environment and keep those colorful veins popping.

Décor Tips:

Pop Pretty in Pink into a sleek white or pastel-colored pot to let the vibrant veins steal the show. Place it on a desk to add a burst of color to your workspace, or let it dangle dramatically from a hanging planter in your living room. For a jaw-dropping indoor garden, pair it with other colorful plants.

Décor Vibes:

  • Tropical Paradise: Creates a mini jungle with its vivid, lush foliage.
  • Modern Chic: Elevates contemporary spaces with its unique and colorful patterns.
  • Whimsical Wonderland: Perfect for an eclectic, fairy tale-themed decor.

Ideal Spaces:

  • Office: Helps boost creativity and purify the air.

Excellent
Format: Paperback
As a second-year cardiology fellow, I used to get very confused with hemodynamics during my cath and CCU rotations. This book is a gem, it is clear and logically written, has great explanations of waves and great illustrations. The constrictive pericarditis, valvular disease, and FFR chapters are impressive with echocardiographic and physiologic correlations. I actually liked everything I read, like the nice differentiation between the pressure tracings of various chambers. Some of it requires multiple reads but it is worth it. I realized that I had missed a great deal of the basic understanding of pressure tracing configuration, wedge pressure, shunts. There are also over 50 cases in a test-answer format probably covering and reviewing most hemodynamic topics. It is like 2 books in 1.

Format: Paperback
Bought this book. Good content. However my copy is in black and white. There are references to colored arrows. I later learned that others have a colored copy.

A welcome addition to training in hemodynamics
Format: Paperback
Purchased this book for my husband, the director of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Program at a small college. He has been very pleased with the book, calling it a long-overdue addition to the field. It's very helpful in training technologists and others working in Cardiac Cath Labs to recognize hemodynamic waveforms and do calculations. It offers a lot of practice questions in addition to explanations.
