AutoPot GeoPot Fabric Pot Systems, 1-100 Pots | Happy Hydro

Fabric pots that water themselves, from one plant to a hundred

The AutoPot GeoPot System pairs gravity-fed, electricity-free AutoPot irrigation with BPA-free, lead-free GeoPot G Lite fabric pots in 3-gallon or 5-gallon sizes. Each pot sits in its own XL tray with an AQUAvalve5 that fills to 1" of water, shuts off, and only reopens after the plant has consumed the entire supply. No pumps, no timers, no power outlet required. Start with a 1-pot system and expand to 100 pots on a single reservoir using tee connectors and expansion modules.

Hand-watering fabric pots vs. AutoPot GeoPot
Hand-watering fabric pots
  • Water daily or twice daily in fabric pots, which dry out faster than plastic
  • Runoff collects in saucers and needs to be emptied manually
  • Over or under-watering depends entirely on your judgment and schedule
  • Leave for a weekend and plants can dry out completely
  • Top-watering pushes salt buildup down into the root zone
  • Adding more pots means more watering time
AutoPot GeoPot System
  • AQUAvalve5 refills each tray automatically when the plant drinks it dry
  • Bottom-fed system produces zero runoff, nothing to drain or dump
  • Plants set their own wet/dry cycle, each pot independently
  • Fill the reservoir and leave for days, the system keeps feeding
  • Bottom feeding moves salts upward, away from roots
  • Add pots with a tee connector, all share one reservoir
Fabric roots, gravity water, zero power

Air-pruned roots, not circling roots 3 gal or 5 gal

When root tips hit the porous fabric wall, air dries them and triggers secondary branching. The result is a dense, fibrous root mass with more surface area for nutrient uptake instead of roots spiraling at the edge of a plastic pot.

AQUAvalve5: plants decide when to drink

The dual-float valve fills each tray to 1" depth, then closes. It reopens only after the plant uses the entire supply, creating a true wet/dry cycle without any programming or electricity.

Wider 5mm inlet, less clogging

The AQUAvalve5 has a 5mm inlet, 66% larger than the previous generation. Wider 3/8" fittings and pipework mean faster flow through the system and far fewer blockages over a full grow cycle.

BPA-free, lead-free, double-stitched

GeoPot G Lite fabric is certified against off-gassing and leaching. Seams use bonded polyester thread, and the rigid base helps keep plants upright in the XL tray.

1 pot to 100 on the same reservoir Modular

Start with a 1-pot or 2-pot system. When you need more, add GeoPot expansion modules. Each module includes a tray, pot, valve, PotSock, pipe, and tee connector.

Reusable pots, washable between cycles

After harvest, let pots dry and brush off residue. For deeper cleaning, tub-wash in peroxide. Do not tumble dry. Most growers reuse the same GeoPots for years.

How to set up your GeoPot system

1

Place the reservoir above the trays

Position your reservoir at least 6" above the highest AQUAvalve5. Gravity is the only force moving water, so height matters. Install the tank filter and connect your 3/8" pipe run to the first tray.

2

Set up pots with PotSocks and media

Place a PotSock Round on the base of each GeoPot before filling. Use a 50/50 blend of growing media and aeration material (perlite, pumice, or clay pebbles). Transplant into the fabric pot and top-water by hand for the first 1 to 2 weeks to establish roots.

3

Open the tap and let the system take over

Once roots are established, open the inline tap. Each AQUAvalve5 fills its tray to 1", shuts off, and waits for the plant to drink before refilling. From this point, do not top-water.

4

Refill the reservoir, never let it run dry

Check the reservoir every few days and top off when it reaches one-third full. If it runs completely empty, air enters the lines and the AQUAvalve5 can lose its vacuum seal. Top off early, top off often.

Frequently asked questions
Top-water by hand for the first 1 to 2 weeks after transplanting so the roots establish in the pot. Once you see healthy new growth and the root ball has taken hold, open the inline tap and let the AQUAvalve5 take over. From that point forward, do not top-water. Bottom-fed systems move salts upward harmlessly, but top-watering pushes them back into the root zone.
At least 6" of vertical clearance between the bottom of the reservoir and the highest AQUAvalve5. Gravity is the only thing moving water through the system, so without that height difference the valves won't fill properly. Most growers stand the reservoir on a milk crate, a shelf, or a small platform. A higher reservoir also means faster fill times on each cycle.
AutoPot recommends a 50/50 blend of growing media and aeration material. Common mixes include coco/perlite, soil/perlite, or soil/pumice. The aeration layer prevents compaction and helps water wick upward from the tray. If you skip the drainage layer at the bottom of the pot, consider adding an AirBase underneath to lift the pot and improve airflow.
They can. The porous fabric allows moisture to evaporate through the pot walls, which is great for root aeration but can bump tent humidity, especially with multiple pots in a small space. Make sure your exhaust fan and ventilation are sized appropriately. Most growers in 4x4 or larger tents with proper ventilation don't have issues.
Air enters the pipe lines and the AQUAvalve5 can lose its vacuum seal, which means it won't reopen properly even after you refill. This is the most common cause of system trouble and it's completely preventable. Check your reservoir every few days and top off when it reaches about one-third full. Never let it run completely dry.
The GeoPot G Lite pots are sized specifically for the 1Pot XL tray. Other fabric pots may not sit properly in the tray or make full contact with the water. The GeoPots also have a rigid base that helps them stay upright and wick evenly. If you want to try a different pot, make sure it fits inside the XL tray with room for the lid to close, and always use a PotSock or root control disc on the bottom.

The series as a whole so far 5/25
Format: Kindle
I read reviews before going into this book and I don't agree with one of the more harsh ones on the main trigger she had. It is stated clearly in the forward and it wasn't as blase as it was made out to be. It definitely is touched on more and hasn't just been brushed off as the series goes I definitely would recommend reading it. It's a good series just be for-warned I like the series as a whole. The characters are awesome I adore the fmc shes cute and adorable but also a badass. Though there are a bunch of holes for her that I feel like just got left out. The guys are interesting and shout out to yall for not making Gage a dragon. I'm tired of the broody ones who don't wanna talk aboit what they are being Dragons. Ki is my favorite You can definitely tell if is written by 2 different people though because the phrasing just doesn't match up and wouldn't be something people that age says. And it flip flops between them. I feel like there's substance without substance. We are 4 books in and we don't really know much back story on literally anyone more than right under surface deep. There are definitely favorite MMCs which is kind of disappointing since some get shoved to the wayside. Specifically both of the best friends. They're basically useless and it's made obvious as the books go on. As well as all the men are ungodly self deprecating. I enjoy the plot line for the most part like I said I enjoy the series its different and refreshing. I do feel like the series is being dragged out though unfortunately. And the latest cliff hanger was just meh. So hopefully the next book is the last one.

Wow!
Format: Kindle
This book was awesome! Seraphina and her family have moved to a new town. Her family is a bit... odd. She grew up learning how to protect herself from people who might hurt her. Bloodshed is a daily occurrence with her brothers and parents during their practice sessions, and it’s all fun and games unless you need to hide a body. Sera’s family is very close, and she’s been homeschooled most of her life. But in this new town she is going to start regular school as a senior at the local high school. Unfortunately, things at her school aren’t all they seem to be. Or perhaps more than they seem to be. Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well. This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.

Great start
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! It's funny but still deals with tough themes, like chronic illness, a serial killer on the loose, and a dash of self-harm. The guys are interesting and distinct, we don't know too much about them yet. It does end on a really terrible cliffhanger but on the bright side the next book is out and I believe the series is complete. I have enjoyed both of these authors separately and this is a great team up!

Fudge!
Format: Kindle
Titles aren’t my strong suit. Sorry not sorry. That ending has me completely frustrated book two isn’t out yet. Just throwing that out there. First thing first, this is a high school book where the lead is under 18. Yea yea she’s about month from being an adult, but I can’t say I would’ve even opened the file if I’d realized. It’s not a smut fest or anything, but there is sexual tension as each party figures out their emotions. That being said, it’s a good book. There are some troubling parts, like how the supes come into their powers at 13, but most of those are dealt with in a way that makes sense. Kian is the exception. His whole arc pisses me off, especially since no one stepped in. Reflecting back on real world situations, ten or so years ago, I can see it happening, but it still makes me sick. Which, I’m sure was the whole damn point. For the most part, Courting Darkness is a fun read. I found myself laughing along with most of the set up. By the time it started getting serious, I’d grown to like the characters enough it held an impact. I’ll be adding book two to my list for when it comes out.

Intriguing
Format: Kindle
An intriguing story that played out slowly while introducing some unique characters. The story became quite fascinating to read as these same characters provided startling revelations to their lives. As their relationships evolve, more drama and mystery is revealed adding to my fascination. I can’t wait to read more.
