AMMONIUM SULPHAMATE USES:
- As a flame retardant
- Ammonium sulfamate is used as a compost accelerator. It is especially effective in breaking down the tougher and woodier weeds put onto the compost heap.
- Accelerates the break down and rotting of tree stumps.

- In electro-plating
- As a herbicide (outside the EU) - Ammonium Sulphamate was once considered to be particularly useful in controlling tough woody weeds, tree stumps and brambles. However in 2008 the EU removed its approval as a registered herbicide and therefore it can no longer be advertised or sold explicitly for this purpose. We therefore do not sell ammonium sulphamate for this purpose. Its availability and use as a compost accelerator is unaffected by the EUs pesticide legislation.
To use as a compost accelerator:
Apply solution as supplied. Treated compost should not be used for at least 3 months to allow sufficient time for the ammonium sulphamate to break down.
For improving the rotting of dead tree stumps drill holes in the stump before applying the solution.

I mounted it with a drawer pull

I was looking for a way to store my headphones and not clutter my desk. I also wanted to make sure the padding doesn’t get deformed by hanging them on a hook.
This wall mounted option met all my requirements, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey for just a small piece of wood and metal.
It’s nicely finished and the shape will minimize leaving a dent in the padding of the headphones. I was worried that the color wouldn’t match my desk but luckily it was very close.
Based on other reviews I didn’t trust the adhesive. Instead of drilling a hole into my desk I thought I would try attaching it with one of the drawer pulls. The hole of the wall hanger was just a millimeter too small for the screw of the drawer pull, but a quick mod with my power drill and it fits perfectly.
I’m glad I didn’t drill into my desk, and if the position ends up inconvenient I can easily swap it to a different drawer.
I would highly recommend this product.

Good design, but inconsistent photos. I think I got a dull-colored sample.
Color: Walnut Wood
Good, but seeing a lot of inconsistent user photos. Some have extra racks or a little knob for cables. Some mount with the bracket pointing downward (you can reverse it if you want) and with two screws.
Also, the block I got is a dull poopy brown instead of the bright & vibrant brown on the photos of the product page & box. Understandable, I suppose-- given the nature of wood. Plastic/metal would certainly be more consistent, but I wanted this to match my black & wood aesthetic of my office.
Luck of the draw on the shade of brown that I got, I guess. As nice as this hanger looks and as convenient as it is, the dull color is enough to make me want to just leave my headphones in the desk drawer when not in use. A drawer protects the headphones from dust as well. I don't live at my PC, so having them stowed away when not in use makes more sense for me. I didn't really think this though and got a lemon of a color. Likely a return.
