Description

Kentucky Wonder Pole Bean Seeds (Phaseolus vulgaris) – 30+ Non-GMO Heirloom Seeds for Planting, Classic Climbing Variety with Tender Green Pods, by Isla’s Garden Seeds, Gift Idea for Gardeners

Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) are a classic heirloom variety cherished for their exceptional flavor, productivity, and reliability in the garden. Producing long, slender pods that can reach up to 9 inches, these beans are tender yet meaty, with a slightly sweet taste that has made them a favorite among home gardeners for generations.

As vigorous climbers, Kentucky Wonder thrives when grown on poles, fences, or trellises, reaching heights of 5–7 feet and rewarding growers with continuous harvests throughout the season. Their vertical growth habit not only saves space but also makes picking easier, making them an excellent choice for small gardens or those looking to maximize yields.

Nutritious as well as delicious, Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans are rich in fiber, protein, and essential vitamins, including A and C, along with minerals like potassium, folate, and iron. They are wonderfully versatile in the kitchen—enjoy them fresh, steamed, stir-fried, or canned for year-round use.

With their dependable performance, outstanding flavor, and abundant yields, Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans remain one of the most beloved and time-tested green bean varieties to grow.

🌱Planting Instructions

Approx seeds per order 30

Vining beans can grow 10–15 feet long and require sturdy support such as trellises, stakes, or fences to climb. Pole varieties are more productive than bush beans, often yielding over a longer period and rewarding regular harvesting with continuous new growth.

Sow seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, once soil temperatures reach at least 48°F. Choose a location with 6–8 hours of full sun daily. Plant seeds 1 inch deep, placing 3–4 seeds at the base of each support. Set up trellises or stakes before planting to avoid disturbing young roots. Space supports at least 6 inches apart for proper airflow and growth.

Water deeply and consistently, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Because beans have shallow roots, weed carefully to avoid disturbing the plants. Harvest beans frequently—pods left on the vine too long will become tough and reduce overall production. For the best flavor and texture, pick beans as soon as they reach full size but are still tender.

Need scan button to work!
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
Love (almost) everything about this except the scan button. The scan button on the Epson screen does not work. I called Microsoft who tried to fix it through the connection but still didn't work. Sent an e-mail to Epson and no response. Really need this scan button to work so that I can scan to desktop.

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
