  • The Size Option menu offers multiple neck sizes for cats, kittens & small dogs -- these options refer to the collar's length / adjustable neck size (units listed in inches). See 'Options' tab for a size chart. The collar for this set is a standard 1/2" wide.
  • The Buckle Clasp options menu refers to the standard plastic side-release clasp shown in the collar photos. Both breakaway + non-breakaway buckles look virtually identical to the photos, but function differently. See the 'Options' tab for info about these differences. To upgrade the plastic buckle to a metal one, click here to add the metal buckle upgrade to your order.
  • The Hardware Color menu refers to the standard metal parts on the collar (i.e. the length adjuster, split ring or D-ring & included bell). Does not apply to the plastic buckle clasp. Note: The included bell is removable & entirely optional.
  • Bow Tie Size: 3.25" x 2" (w x h) - bow tie is one-size-fits-all. Bow tie is detachable w/ elastic loop + reinforced felt backing for easy wear. Note: Fabric pattern placement may vary. Note: Pet bow ties are designed for special occasions only and are not recommended for everyday 24/7 use. Please always keep your pet's comfort and safety in mind.

  • Breakaway / Safety Buckle Clasp — (the most common type for cat collars). This type has a safety feature that allows it to automatically pop open if tugged on hard enough / breaks away at ~11 lbs of tensile force - (this unit of measurement is not related to the pet's weight)). Safety breakaway buckles are designed to prevent a choking hazard if the pet's collar gets caught on something. This option will look just like what you see in the photos.
  • Non-Breakaway Buckle Clasp — (the most common type for dog collars). This fastener does not tug open - it stays securely in place. Select NON-breakaway if using the collar with a leash or you do not want any chance of the collar auto-releasing when tugged on. This option will look just like what you see in the photos.
  • Collar Hardware Accents - (in silver or gold)
    Our cat collars include a metal split ring (as shown) for attaching optional tags/bell + metal length adjuster.
  • Our dog collars include a metal D-ring (for attaching a leash or tags) + metal length adjuster.
