- Details: This tin is part of a collectible series of tins featuring Mr. Peanut, started by Planters Peanuts. We believe this one was issued in 2018 and features Mr. Peanut all dressed up in his Christmas best, standing by a decorated fireplace. This is a silver colored tin with a bright red lid and white snowflakes all around the sides. The bottom is undecorated and does not have any labels, perfect for gift giving, (tin is empty). Can store food items, or used as a collectible or as Christmas decor. Great gift for an advertisement collector.

- Condition: Used. Very Good Condition. There are no chips or dents, there are a few very faint surface scratches and a tiny spot on the side, acceptable due to use/wear. Planters Peanuts was founded in 1906 by Mario Peruzzi and his partner, Italian immigrant Amedeo Obici. They were acquired in 1960 by Standard Brands (which merged with Nabisco in 1981). Later in 2000 they were acquired again by Kraft Foods. Today they are a global brand, owned by Hormel Foods since June 2021.

Coppertone Waterbabies SPF 50 has been verified as SPF 50 by an independent testing agency and has been rated number one by the large Consumer product Report organization. Surprisingly many top name products do not provide the sun protection that they advertise.
The spray comes out thick, it is essentially the lotion version that is sprayed from a can, but with the rub of the hands becomes transparent and wipes on easily. All sun protection products are supposed to be sprayed on the hands and then applied, even those that spray clear. I've worn waterbabies every day for the past month and I typically spend 2 hours a day in direct sun, sometimes longer.
It is sweat resistant without being uncomfortable to wear. I say resistant because when working outside in humid weather I can become quite sweaty and will wipe my brow. The majority of the lotion remains on my skin instead of being transferred to my sleeve. Comfort and retained application are very important to me.
Several reviewers complain about the "baby" smell. It doesn't smell so much like babies as it does regular old suntan lotion. Personally I don't really care so much about how it smells as long as it doesn't smell bad like some other expensive sun protection products do. What matters is that it works like it says it will.
Like many other products it doesn't taste very good. This is probably a good thing as it keeps people and babies from eating the stuff.

Perfect for sensitive skin

I love this sunscreen. This was my first time buying after always using another company but recently my skin has started breaking out after using my old sunscreen. This sunscreen not only protects my skin but also does not give me a rash or irritate my skin.

This stuff WORKS.
Style: SPF 50 Lotion, Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am pale, I have rosacea, and I live in the south. That is a terrible combination. But this sunscreen has saved my butt (well, actually it’s saved my face). It doesn’t sting at, and when I accidentally got it into my mouth it didn’t leave a weird aftertaste (I smear it over my lips).
This is my first mineral sunscreen, so I can only compare it to chemical sunscreens. But so far I think it lasts longer (and holds up to sweat better) than any other sunscreen I’ve used. It even survived a day at the water park with minimal reapplication.
Now I will be honest, it leaves a white cast. But I don’t even bother trying to rub it all the way in. I just go out looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost.
(Also it scored well on consumer reports, but the baby version scored even better, so I think I’ll try that next)
