2️⃣ Summer Rest (Aestivation): When temperatures go above 35°C, the plant may curl its leaves to conserve water. Water very lightly during this rest period.
3️⃣ Growing Season: Actively grows between 18–24°C. After dormancy, water thoroughly when soil is dry.
4️⃣ Soil: Needs well-drained, sandy or gravelly soil. Avoid heavy clay.
5️⃣ Water Placement: Do not water directly onto the plant’s center to prevent rot.
