▲ Sowing Instructions:
1. Timing
• Start impatiens seeds indoors about 8-10 weeks before the last expected frost in your area.
2. Seed Starting Mix
• Use a light, well-draining seed starting mix, ideally one that’s sterile to avoid diseases.
• Fill seed trays or small pots with the mix, leaving a little room at the top.
3. Sowing the Seeds
• Impatiens seeds are tiny, so handle them carefully.
• Sprinkle the seeds on the surface of the soil. They need light to germinate, so don’t cover them with soil; simply press them gently into the surface.
4. Moisture and Humidity
• Mist the soil gently to moisten it without washing the seeds away.
• Cover the tray or pots with a plastic dome or plastic wrap to maintain humidity.
• Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.
5. Light and Temperature
• Place the tray in a warm spot with indirect light. Impatiens seeds germinate best at temperatures around 21°C to 24°C (70°F to 75°F).
• Use a seedling heat mat if necessary to maintain warmth.
6. Germination
• Impatiens seeds typically germinate in 14-21 days.
• Once seedlings appear, remove the plastic cover to allow air circulation, and move them to a bright location, but avoid direct sunlight.
7. Thinning
• Once the seedlings develop their first set of true leaves, thin them to avoid overcrowding, leaving the strongest seedlings.
8. Transplanting
• When seedlings are large enough to handle, and after all danger of frost has passed, harden them off by gradually introducing them to outdoor conditions over a week.
• Transplant them into the garden or larger pots in well-drained soil in partial to full shade.
9. Care
• Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid waterlogging.
• Fertilize lightly every few weeks with a balanced fertilizer.

Apparently delicious to dogs!

Bought these hoping they wouldn't be too large for my 10 lb. dog, and found that she loves them so much it doesn't matter that she can't finish one all at once. I think they are her favorite treat, and can last her days, so it is a great deal both for her, and for my wallet! (she also doesn't get them more than once every week or two!)

Chew that pig ear doggie

These are halves of pig ears. My little dachshund doesn't need the entire ear. Half is much better size. And still we break the halves in half. She loves them. Helps clean her teeth while she is chewing and destressing. I would recommend to other dog owners.

So nice I ordered a second bag!

I can’t say that ordering this brand has always been a success. I was ordering half ears. Then one bag came without an expiration date and they didn’t look so good. The next time I bought two of the smaller bags instead. Those ears seemed too small. Mostly OK though. Expiration date on the bag. But this last purchase of full ears looks really good. Expiration date on the package is 12/26. We are nearing the middle of May. So I ordered another bag. My piano teacher (weekly lesson) has two big, tough, but sweet dogs. They watch for me to come up the walk and wait at the door for their pig’s ears 🙂. Thanks! Update: second bag has September 2027 expiration date. Beautiful ears. Delivered next day and I don’t even have Prime. 🙂. Thanks!

THESE ARE AWESOME!! Though I need to cut these pig ears with an industrial pair of sheers (cutting scissors), my three 6 lb Chihuahuas LOVE these treats. It also keeps them busy chewing so daddy can get some work done. They are most importantly great for cleaning my dogs tiny Chihuahua teeth. 😁😉. These are a MUST BUY for anyone seeking a healthy, affordable, teeth-cleaning option for any size dog.

Dogs enjoy them

The brand I usually get them was not available at this time from Amazon and my other retailer only had large white cow ears, which don't look appealing to me even though my schnoodle is in the with knawing on them , the sound of him taking them apart in bed in the middle of the night is something to wake up to. So I was glad to have this recommended as a substitute, and they look like they are flavor to them,the are on assorted sizes and the dogs seem to like them and in the long run that's all that matters
