A classic houseplant since the 1970's, adored by plant lovers and design geeks alike. This Monstera has a way of taking root in your life with its fenestrated leaves that develop distinctive splits and holes as they mature. Also known as a Split-Leaf Philodendron.
Keep an eye out for droopy leaves—your plant’s way of letting you know it’s thirsty. Just make sure to let it dry out between waterings because they don't like soggy roots. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly and produce fewer fenestrated leaves. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the leaves and dull their vibrant green color. For the best results, place it in a spot with bright, filtered light.
Botanical Name: Monstera deliciosa
