Purple Majesty has dry sweet flesh and is great simply roasted or baked. It performs well in both hot and cooler season areas, producing good yields of colorful, tasty tubers that are also well adapted to sandy soils. This fine variety was bred at NCSU and is resistant to Fusarium wilt.
