Monstera Adansonii or Monstera Monkey Mask is native to Central and South America. Monstera Adansonii has thin yet resilient stems that develop freely, fitting multiple types of pot or trailing planter. This plant grows fast and reaches 10–13 ft. tall outdoors or 3–8 ft. tall indoors, and 1–3 ft. wide.
Monstera Swiss Cheese has white flowers and it only blooms outdoors in the spring.

Swiss Cheese Vine's ideal light condition is bright, indirect sunlight, which makes it a perfect indoor plant. When grown outdoors, it is better to put this plant in a partially shady spot. Too much direct sunlight would burn its leaves.
Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch, then let drain completely. Check the soil before watering.
Well-Drained, Porous potting soil, pH from neutral to lightly acidic.
Average summer temperatures from 65ºF/18ºC to 70ºF/21ºC are ideal. In winter, it can survive temperatures as low as 50ºF/10ºC.
Feed once with a controlled-release fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season.
Monstera Adansonii is mildly toxic to small animals so keep it out of reach of your pets. -

A fresh take on lynching and its place in American culture.

A path-breaking study of lynching as spectacle and the meanings such events produced for the masses who attended them as well as for those who saw the photos and postcards afterwards. Wood's visual analysis of these images is impressive and cogent. Her writing is clear and accessible to a wide audience. This is cultural history at its finest!

Lynchers Were Worse Than I Thought,
Format: Kindle
It was worth the time and effort to get through this book. It has opened my eyes to the scapegoating of Black victims’ as the evil ones and whites as the religious moral ones.
That being said, this book was too detailed, making it slow reading.
Overall, it still was and is worth reading to understand this massive projection of guilt and evil on victims, and the taking of justice into mob rule.

Shocking
Format: Paperback
An informative read that will make you sick as the hanging death of people becomes a spectator sport. I knew going in I was going to be really angry about this and I was so right. It has been more than a month since I finished it and the horrific cruelty and lawlesness still makes my blood boil.And many times the "supposed law" were guilty of opening the jail or were complicit in letting this happen. It will make you think.
