About Echeveria 'Pure Love'

Echeveria 'Pure Love' is a beautiful cultivar known for its exquisite rosette shape and stunning coloration. It is a succulent variety that falls under the Echeveria genus, part of the Crassulaceae family. This succulent features fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that form tight clusters, creating a visually appealing display. The leaf tips are sharp and there are farina on the leaves. The color is light green to orange-yellow. Like Echeveria Ice Green, when thriving, the leaves of Pure Love will turn orange or pink, with a sense of transparency.

How to care for Echeveria 'Pure Love'

Sun: Echeveria 'Pure Love' prefers bright, indirect light for optimal sunlight conditions. Position the succulent plant in a spot that receives partial to full sunlight for approximately 6 to 8 hours daily. However, it is crucial to shield it from intense direct sunlight, particularly during the hottest periods of the day, as prolonged exposure can lead to leaf sunburn. Striking a balance between sufficient light and protective measures is crucial in maintaining your Echeveria 'Pure Love' health and vibrancy.

Temperature: Temperature plays an important role in caring for Echeveria 'Pure Love.' This succulent thrives in moderate to warm temperatures. Ideally, please keep it in an environment where the temperature ranges between 65-85°F during the day. Ensure the temperature doesn't drop below 50°F at night, as lower temperatures can harm the plant. Avoid exposing it to freezing temperatures or frost, as Echeveria 'Pure Love' is not a cold hardy succulent.

Soil: To ensure proper soil care for Echeveria 'Pure Love,' it is recommended to use a lower percentage of drainage gritty rocks, approximately 30%, when the plant is small and young. This helps retain some moisture and provides stability for the young plant. As the Echeveria matures, the particle ratio can be increased to around 70%. This adjustment promotes better drainage and aeration, which benefits the plant's root system as it grows. By modifying the granule ratio according to the plant's stage of development, you can create suitable soil conditions that support the healthy growth of Echeveria 'Pure Love.'

Watering: Water Echeveria Snow Fairy thoroughly but infrequently. To avoid overwatering and potential root rot, it is essential to let the soil dry out completely between each watering, as live succulents are prone to root deeply by applying this watering method. Like other Echeveria, this plant would enter dormancy in the middle of summer and cold winter. During the dormant period, succulent plants will grow slowly, and even stop growing. Unnecessary water will cause plants to rot easily. Click here to learn what succulent dormancy is.

Propagation: To propagate Echeveria 'Pure Love,' carefully select a healthy leaf and let it callus for a few days. Besides traditional soil-rooted propagation, dry propagation is another excellent way to propagate Echeveria succulents. Simply use a shallow container like the seed tray or plate to carry the leaves, then move the tray to a warm location with partial sun. Within weeks, roots will develop, followed by new rosettes. Once mature, it is up to you that you plant these succulent babies in soil or hydroponic them.

Favorite toy
Pattern Name: Octopus
My 80 lb American bulldog and staffy mix absolutely LIVES this little octopus. He literally destroys everything but NOT the octopus, lol. It is well made and has lasted months which is a huge deal. Great buy

Large & Well Made
Pattern Name: Octopus
Although quite large for a small dog it does provide lots of entertainment. It's soft has crinkle in the legs which does entertain my little guy.

Only “tough” toy my Doberman loves!
Pattern Name: Octopus
Not indestructible, but last a good long while. Definitely worth the money and lasts longer than any other plush toys we’ve had (which is all my dog will play with). It’s for sure my Dobermans favorite, I’ve ordered probably 10 at this point. He gets the stuffing out after a month or two and we open a new one. He’s picky with toys, either destroys them or ignores them, but he never gets bored with his octopus! 🐙 He sneaks one outside once in a while and the neighbor’s dogs steal it. They love it too and thankfully can’t destroy before I retrieve it.
