The **Monstera Albo** is a variegated mutation of the classic *Monstera deliciosa*, native to the rainforests of Southern Mexico and Panama. The white sections of the leaves lack chlorophyll, which is the component plants use to turn sunlight into energy. This "chimera" variegation is unstable, meaning the plant requires careful light management to maintain its white patches.
