Especially well suited to small-celled flats, soil blocking, and any grower seeking a lighter-weight medium. It is particularly helpful in smaller trays/pots or other situations where overwatering is a concern. 

Uses: Seed germination, transplanting vegetable and flower starts, houseplants requiring additional drainage, hanging baskets

Preparation: Moisten with warm water a few hours before planting or soil blocking. Pre-wetting allows the soil to stabilize and helps prevent washout from pots or trays.
