AutoPot Easy2Go Vacation Watering Kit | Happy Hydro

Leave for weeks and come home to healthy plants

The AutoPot Easy2Go kit turns any flat-based tray into a gravity-fed watering system using the patented AQUAvalve5. No electricity, no pumps, no timers. Connect it to a reservoir of 8 gallons or more, set your pots in the tray, and the valve meters water from below, refilling to a 1-inch depth only after your plants drink the previous fill dry. Works indoors, in greenhouses, on patios, and in grow tents. Assembles in under 10 minutes with a drill and a container you probably already own.

What you're doing now vs. what the Easy2Go does
Wicks, timers, and hand watering
  • Drip emitters and wicks deliver water on a fixed schedule, not when plants actually need it
  • Timer systems need a power outlet, programming, and a pump that can fail while you're gone
  • Hand watering means someone has to show up on schedule, every time, or plants suffer
  • No dry-back cycle with constant drip, so roots stay wet between feedings
  • A big plant and a small plant on the same line get identical water volumes
  • More parts to set up and maintain: pump, timer, tubing, emitters, fittings
AutoPot Easy2Go
  • AQUAvalve5 only opens when plants have consumed all available water, so watering matches demand
  • Runs entirely on gravity from a raised reservoir. No pump, no electricity, no programming
  • Set it once and leave. The valve keeps cycling as long as the reservoir has water
  • Built-in wet/dry cycle: tray fills to 1 inch, plants drink it dry, valve reopens
  • Every plant in the tray draws water from below based on its own root demand
  • One valve, one pipe, two filters, one grommet. Assembles in minutes with a drill
Gravity-powered, plant-led, zero maintenance

AQUAvalve5 Plant-Led Watering No electricity

The valve fills your tray to a 1-inch depth and shuts off. It stays closed until your plants consume all the water, then reopens to refill. This creates a natural wet/dry cycle driven entirely by plant demand, not a clock.

5mm Large-Bore Inlet

The AQUAvalve5 has a 66% larger inlet than the previous AQUAvalve4. Faster fill rates, broader nutrient compatibility, and significantly less risk of blockage from organic or mineral feed solutions.

Link Multiple Kits Together

Each Easy2Go kit serves one tray. To cover more trays, connect additional kits to the same reservoir. Scale from a windowsill herb garden to a full greenhouse without changing the core system.

Works with Any Flat-Based Tray

No proprietary trays required. Any gardening tray with a flat bottom and a minimum depth of 1.2 inches will work. Use what you already have or pick up a standard nursery flood tray.

Use It Anywhere

Runs on gravity alone, so it works indoors, on patios, in greenhouses, in grow tents, or on a balcony. No outlet needed. No pump noise. No risk of failure during a power outage.

Included Spirit Level for Accurate Setup

The AQUAvalve needs a level surface to function correctly. The kit includes a circular spirit level so you can confirm your tray is flat before you leave, avoiding valve issues while you're away.

Setup in four steps

1

Prep your reservoir

Grab any container that holds at least 8 gallons. Drill a hole near the bottom, install the included top hat grommet and inline filter, and connect the 3/8-inch pipe. The reservoir must sit above the tray so gravity can do its job.

2

Level your tray

Place your flat-based tray (minimum 1.2 inches deep) on a stable surface. Use the included spirit level to confirm it's flat. The AQUAvalve relies on gravity and a level surface to open and close correctly.

3

Install the AQUAvalve5

Place the AQUAvalve5 in the tray and connect the pipe from your reservoir. Snap the AQUAvalve cover over the valve to protect it from getting bumped by pots. Run the pipe from the reservoir to the valve inlet.

4

Add plants and go

Set your potted plants in the tray (any growing medium works). Fill the reservoir with water or nutrient solution and open the tap. The valve fills the tray to 1 inch and stops. When plants drink it dry, it refills automatically.

Frequently asked questions
It depends on how many plants you're running and how big your reservoir is. A single tray with a few small pots connected to a 27-gallon reservoir could run for several weeks without a refill. Larger, thirstier plants in a warm environment will drink faster. The valve doesn't care how long you're gone, it just keeps cycling as long as there's water in the reservoir. Size your reservoir to your plant count and you'll be fine.
Both. The AQUAvalve5 was specifically redesigned with a larger 5mm bore to handle a wider range of nutrient solutions, both mineral and organic. That said, if you're running thick organic feeds, check the inline filter periodically and clean the valve between grows. Most synthetic nutrient lines run through without issue for extended periods.
It works with both. The system waters from below through the tray, so the water wicks up through the bottom of whatever pot you're using. Fabric pots, plastic nursery pots, terracotta, and air pots all work. Just make sure the pots have drainage holes and sit flat in the tray so the bottoms make contact with the water.
The AQUAvalve is sensitive to level. If the tray is tilted, the valve may not open or close at the right water depth, which can cause overwatering on one side or underwatering on the other. That's why the kit includes a spirit level. Use shims or cardboard under the tray legs to get it flat before you connect the reservoir. It takes an extra minute and makes a real difference.
Yes. The Easy2Go uses the same AQUAvalve5 and 3/8-inch pipe that comes standard on all current AutoPot systems. You can feed it from the same reservoir line using a 1/2-inch to 3/8-inch reducer fitting, which is included in the kit. If you want to water a separate group of smaller plants (seedlings, herbs, houseplants) off the same reservoir that feeds your main AutoPot pots, this is a clean way to do it.
The 1Pot and Tray2Grow systems come with AutoPot's own trays, pots, and reservoirs. The Easy2Go is just the valve, pipe, filters, and fittings. You supply your own tray and reservoir. It's designed for growers who already have containers and just want to add automated bottom-watering without buying an entire system. It's also the most affordable entry point into AutoPot's gravity-fed technology.

Fun, both heartwarming and heartbreaking
Format: Kindle
Only my second first person written selection, I am still getting used to that aspect, but unlike my first, I enjoyed that the story was told through both MCs. A great enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fated love etc, that resonated to me. There were some small twists that I could see coming, but also a few that I didn’t quite see until the characters were also seeing. Personally, I am more interested in the story than the spice, but with that said, it was well seasoned! I am kind of new to the spice world so I can’t say for sure how this would rate, but it definitely had some heat. I am very glad I happened across this author, and I do plan on also reading the next book….if nothing else, just to see for myself the “transformation” of the characters I’ve grown to love!

😍😍 BEST DEBUT NOVEL EVER
Format: Paperback
I’m having trouble finding accurate words to describe the way this book made me feel, but I am going to do my best. To start off with basic elements, the character and world building are phenomenal. I feel a strong bond to not only the two main characters, Ara and Rogue, but to each and every character introduced throughout the book. The author did a stellar job of giving each of them unique personhood. All of the scenes are beautifully described. So much so that throughout the entirety of the book, I could see every scene: the towns, the castles, the meadows, the landscape. I have had difficulty with this and with distinguishing between outlying characters while reading in the past, but I did not have to think to remember details of world or character building because they flowed naturally within the story and were described well. I have read book series before that made me want to be a part of that world, but I actually felt like I got to step into Auryna and Ravaryn! The plot twists!! Although this is not a suspense novel, it still had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I haven’t cried actual tears over a book since I was in high school (and I’ve read a LOT). This book finally broke the floodgates in the final few chapters. Multiple times. And we love a good cliffhanger. It truly made me FEEL. THE SPICE is a solid 3.5/5. Some of the scenes had me flushed, some had me taking notes, some just had my jaw slack and my mouth hanging open. Bravo, JD Linton, bravo. The relationships: friendships, family, romantic, ALL of the relationships in this book have so much meaning. The author does a great job at making you feel the love, the anger, the peace, the frustrations, the safety, the familiarity, etc. between the characters. Ara and Rogue. I can not say enough and I also do not want to say too much. Just know that I feel like I know them both, to their core. I know what their childhood looks likes, their darkest moments, their biggest fears, their dreams and passions, what they want in life… The POV switches were seamless. I am so happy this author decided to let us see from both sets of eyes. I can not wait for book two after that cliffhanger. And there is SO much potential for at least one prequel, I can’t wait to see where this author goes! I hope this series continues and flourishes. Fingers crossed!

Amazing!
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. I have zero complaints about this book. Let me start by saying that the world building was phenomenal. I could picture everything in my head because of how detailed it was — that’s how good it was written. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

High on Tropes and Satisfaction
Format: Kindle
This is a great Romantasy book full of action, adventure, and everything you look for in this genre. I won’t lie: it does kinda feel like the author found every common trope from every successful book of this kind and threw them all into this novel. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Especially in romance, there’s a large audience who has specific expectations, and they want them every time. Nothing wrong with that and many times I’m one of them. I have no idea what defines a spoiler honestly, so spoiler alert!!!!!!! Tropes include: Only one bed at the inn/bar Dissatisfaction with life before hunk appears Lost royalty The chosen one Montage of dress up time followed by shocked hunk Forbidden romance between two from rival peoples Power that cannot be controlled, simply guided/asked Gathering intel at the inn/bar FMC who knows how to fight/use weapons well There’s probably more but no need to list them all. Good story and I would recommend!

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
