WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE BOX

FLOWERING ANTHURIUM MELODIA  BUSHY POT WITH FLOWERSS,2 SHOOTS.SENDING IN 3-4" POT.
PLANT SIZE: 20-30 CM tall

Here’s a detailed guide to Anthurium care:

1. Light:

  • Bright, indirect light is key. This is crucial for both healthy foliage and abundant blooms.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, especially harsh afternoon sun, as it can scorch the leaves, leading to bleached spots or browning.

  • Too little light can result in leggy growth, pale foliage, and fewer or smaller blooms.

  • Ideal placement: Near an east or north-facing window, or a few feet from a south or west-facing window with sheer curtains to filter the light. Rotate your plant periodically for even growth.

2. Watering:

  • Water when the top 50-75% of the soil is dry to the touch. This usually means once a week to every 10 days, but it depends on factors like temperature, humidity, and pot size.

  • Do not let the soil dry out completely, but also never let it sit in standing water, as this is a common cause of root rot.

  • Ensure excellent drainage. Always use a pot with drainage holes. If using a decorative cachepot, ensure the plant’s pot is elevated to prevent it from sitting in drained water.

  • Water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom, then discard any excess.

  • Reduce watering frequency in winter as the plant’s growth slows.

  • Signs of improper watering:

    • Yellowing leaves: Often a sign of overwatering.

    • Brown tips/edges: Can indicate underwatering or low humidity.

    • Drooping/wilting leaves: Can be caused by both overwatering (root rot preventing water uptake) and underwatering (lack of moisture). Check the soil moisture to diagnose.

3. Humidity:

  • Anthuriums are tropical plants and love high humidity (60-80%). They can tolerate average household humidity but will truly thrive with more.

  • Ways to increase humidity:

    • Mist the leaves regularly (daily is beneficial, especially for new leaves).

    • Use a pebble tray filled with water beneath the pot (ensure the pot isn’t sitting in the water).

    • Place a humidifier nearby.

    • Group plants together to create a microclimate.

    • Bathrooms or kitchens can be good spots due to naturally higher humidity.

4. Temperature:

  • Maintain warm, consistent temperatures between  and  ( and ).

  • Avoid temperatures below  (), cold drafts, or sudden temperature fluctuations, as these can stress the plant and inhibit growth and flowering.

  • Keep them away from heating and air conditioning vents.

5. Soil and Potting:

  • Anthuriums are epiphytic in their natural habitat, meaning they grow on other plants rather than in soil. Therefore, they need a loose, well-draining, airy, and acidic potting mix that mimics their natural growing conditions.

  • A good aroid mix or orchid mix is ideal, often including:

    • Orchid bark (for excellent drainage and aeration)

    • Coco coir or peat moss (for moisture retention)

    • Perlite or pumice (for drainage and aeration)

    • A small amount of compost or vermicompost for nutrients.

  • Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one. They don’t mind being a little root-bound. Aerial roots are normal and don’t necessarily indicate a need for repotting; you can leave them or gently tuck them into the soil.

6. Fertilizer:

  • Anthuriums are moderate feeders, especially during their active growing season (spring and summer).

  • Use a balanced liquid fertilizer formulated for flowering plants (e.g., higher in phosphorus, the middle number in NPK) diluted to half or quarter strength.

  • Fertilize every 2-4 weeks during spring and summer.

  • Reduce or stop fertilizing in fall and winter when growth slows.

  • Always water before fertilizing to prevent root burn.

  • Over-fertilization can lead to salt buildup and yellow spotting on leaves.

7. Pruning:

  • Remove spent flowers (spathes) by cutting the stalk close to the base of the plant. This encourages new blooms.

  • Trim off any yellowing, brown, or damaged leaves to direct the plant’s energy towards healthy growth. Use clean, sharp pruners.

8. Pests and Diseases:

  • Anthuriums can occasionally be susceptible to common houseplant pests like spider mites, mealybugs, aphids, and thrips.

  • Inspect your plant regularly for signs of pests.

  • Treat infestations promptly with insecticidal soap, neem oil, or by wiping down leaves with a damp cloth.

  • Root rot is the most common disease, caused by overwatering and poor drainage. Symptoms include yellowing leaves, wilting despite wet soil, and mushy roots.

  • Fungal or bacterial leaf spots can occur in overly humid or poorly ventilated conditions. Ensure good air circulation.

Love Good Molecules
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m learning a lot about peptides for skin and this product was recommended by so many people, in so many different places, that I gave it a try. And I don’t regret it. The price is phenomenal, I love the ingredients, I have sensitive skin with mild rosacea on my cheeks, and it does not aggravate my skin whatsoever. It goes on so smooth and dried so fast. There is absolutely no “film” it does not feel heavy or weird on my face either. Almost feels like water TBH. I’ve been using it twice a day for over a week now and I definitely can feel and see a difference! I thought maybe I was just fooling myself or imagining things but definitely not. My friend told me that my cheek look “less inflamed” and that the lines on my forehead are looking a little “less severe” (not that they were so bad to begin with lol but it definitely speaks volumes about the product) I don’t smell anything so I don’t think there is a fragrance As far as brightening my skin, I can’t honestly tell a difference in that aspect. But overall, it has done something noticeable with my skin redness and sensitivity, it has helped with minor plumping of smaller lines, it adds a nice “bounce” to my skin, nothing major or crazy, but noticeable enough to the naked eye. And this is using it twice a day for over seven days now – in conjunction with a few other products I use, but I am noticing that I am using less product products now. Now I am just down to my eye cream and my cicapair serum for redness/sensitivity & my fave good molecules Yerba Mate eye gel (I used it on my forehead lines too!) And I like the size of the bottle. Especially for the price. It feels very nice and soothing on the skin. I have to be careful that I don’t use too much lol I cannot wait to check out other items from this brand The two items I use are so good, affordable, and impressive. Plus multi use. This one, I put it on my lips as well. The Yerba is great for my forehead lines and I put it on my neck/under chin area too.

Great to add to your routine without spending big money.
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using this in my skincare routine for about a month and I love it. It has helped my skin texture and elasticity. It’s also an amazing price. The Good Molecules line is a hidden gem that doesn’t require you to spend an outrageous amount for a serum. Make sure to let it absorb in before you apply the rest of your products, as it takes a minute to dry down. It seems very effective, has brightened my skin, and can be used every night. I’ve had it for about a month and still have half the bottle, so it’s a decent size. My skin was so dry before I started my new routine and I think this serum has helped. The consistency is like a little thicker and will feel a bit tacky after use. I use it after cleansing and before I use my snail mucin serum. Will buy again when I run out.

Great quality, great price.
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
So far so good. This is my 2nd bottle. I mean, it’s not botox. But it’ll definitely plump and hydrate. I have dry, weird sensitive combination skin (and I’m 39), but this works and I love it as a first step in my rituals. (I also love their caffeine eye cream!)

Nice evening serum for dry skin
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I bought this serum to use in my evening routine, and by morning my skin looks more hydrated and “filled”. The texture is clear and gel-like, very lightweight, spreads easily and absorbs fast without stickiness. After it dries, I apply my night moisturizer on top. In the morning my skin looks softer, smoother and less tired. Big plus for me is how comfortable it feels on the skin, the only small minus is that the bottle is not very big. I think it works especially well for dry or more mature skin.
