Syngonium White Butterfly is one of the most classic and elegant arrowhead plants you can grow. Its distinctive arrow-shaped leaves are a soft, muted green with generous silvery-white variegation in the center that gives the plant a light, airy, almost frosted quality. It is compact when young, trails beautifully as it matures, and adapts remarkably well to a wide range of indoor conditions including lower light spaces where many variegated plants would struggle.
Good for beginners? Yes. Syngonium White Butterfly is one of the most adaptable and forgiving arrowhead plants available. It tolerates lower light better than most variegated plants and is very forgiving of imperfect care.
Safe for cats and dogs? Syngonium is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs, or explore our pet-safe plant collection.
Light needs: Medium to bright indirect light keeps the silvery-white variegation most vivid. It tolerates lower light better than most variegated plants but the white portions may reduce. Avoid direct sun which can bleach the delicate coloring.
Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer. Pinch back tips to keep growth full and bushy. As it matures it will trail beautifully from a shelf or hanging planter.
Ships fresh from one of our two greenhouse locations in a nursery pot. Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee. Free shipping on orders $149+.
