Philodendron 'Strawberry Shake' is a highly coveted variegated cultivar that represents one of the most sought-after varieties in modern plant collecting and for enthusiasts seeking unique and valuable houseplants.
- Light: Requires bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation. Insufficient light may cause the plant to lose its distinctive coloring. Avoid direct sunlight which can fade the delicate pink and red tones.
- Temperature: Thrives in warm temperatures between 20-26°C (68-79°F). Maintain stable conditions and protect from cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.
- Humidity: Prefers high humidity levels of 60-70%. Consistent moisture in the air helps maintain the vibrant coloration and prevents leaf browning.
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture during growing season but avoid overwatering which can lead to root rot.
Additional Notes:
Foliage Characteristics: Philodendron Strawberry Shake showcases heart to oval-shaped leaves with striking variegation in shades of green, cream, pink, and red. Each leaf offers a unique mix of colors, creating a dynamic and elegant display.
