Le Dracaena fragrans ‘Riki’ est une variété haut de gamme du célèbre Dracaena fragrans, appréciée pour son feuillage long, souple et élégamment panaché de vert foncé et de jaune doré.
Son port dressé et son feuillage lumineux en font une plante d’intérieur très décorative, parfaite pour les espaces modernes, bureaux, halls ou salons.
Robuste, tolérante et facile d’entretien, elle purifie également l’air ambiant en éliminant certaines substances volatiles.

Comment l’entretenir

Lumière

  • Aime la lumière vive indirecte.

  • Supporte la mi-ombre, mais les couleurs seront plus ternes.

  • Éviter le soleil direct qui brûle les feuilles.

Température

  • Idéal entre 18 et 28 °C.

  • Ne jamais exposer à moins de 12 °C.

  • Éviter les courants d’air froid ou les variations de température.

Arrosage

  • Arroser modérément : laisser sécher les 2–3 premiers centimètres du substrat entre deux arrosages.

  • En été : environ une fois par semaine.

  • En hiver : espacer (toutes les 2 à 3 semaines).

  • Toujours vider la soucoupe après arrosage.

Hygrométrie

  • Apprécie une atmosphère légèrement humide.

  • Brumisation légère possible, surtout en hiver dans les pièces chauffées.

Substrat

  • Mélange drainant et léger :

    • Terreau plantes vertes

    • Perlite ou sable fin

  • Un pot avec trou de drainage est indispensable.

Engrais

  • De mars à septembre : engrais plantes vertes toutes les 3 à 4 semaines.

  • Aucun apport en hiver.

Rempotage

  • Tous les 2 à 3 ans, au printemps.

  • Profiter du rempotage pour tailler légèrement les tiges si besoin.

Astuces

  • Feuilles qui brunissent sur les bords : air trop sec ou eau calcaire.

  • Feuilles ternes : manque de lumière.

  • Jaunissement général : excès d’eau.

  • Pousses molles : trop d’humidité stagnante dans le substrat.

  • Pour favoriser un feuillage plus dense : couper la tête d’une tige principale, la plante repartira en ramification.

Assembled chair only to find that the lift cylinder was faulty. Would have preferred to be able to just get a replacement cylinder but calling China didn't seem like a viable option.
