Beccariophoenix alfredii occurs in the High Plateau of Madagascar at approximately 20 degrees south. The palm is found at an elevation of 1,050 meters (3,440 feet) growing along the sandy riverbeds. The surrounding vegetation is mainly composed of various grasses, and the area sees occasional fires. Due to the environment that B. alfredii is subjected to, it is hardy against frost and cold, fire, drought, full sun, and possibly hurricanes. This recently discovered, new Beccariophoenix originates in a humid valley west of Antsirabe on the high plateau of Madagascar, at an elevation of abt. 1000 m, where the temperatures are comparatively cool throughout the year and can drop below freezing at night in winter, making it ideal for warm temperate areas with no more than moderate freezes. The plant is quite distinct from Beccariophoenix madagascariensis. Beccariophoenix alfredii is a fairly large palm quite similar to a coconut palm and a perfect replacement for that in cooler climates where the coconut can not survive the winters. One of the best new introductions from Madagascar. Very popular and sought after because of its better cold tolerance. Due to its overall hardiness, B. alfredii is a good candidate for cultivation in central and southern Florida, California and also locations such as Sydney Australia, Southern Spain, Portugal and Northern New Zealand. Excellent USB-C hub for my MacBook Air M3
I’m very happy with the UGREEN Revodok Pro 9 in 1 USB-C Hub. The packaging is very well done and gives a great first impression right out of the box.
The hub itself feels solid, robust, and well built. I have been using it for about two weeks with my MacBook Air M3, and so far, I have not had any issues. It is truly plug and play: my computer detects all connected peripherals immediately, and everything works as expected.
I also tested the display on/off button, and it works correctly. My current setup is the hub connected to my MacBook Air M3 with a 22” LG monitor through HDMI, while I connect a second 29” LG widescreen monitor directly to the laptop using a Thunderbolt cable.
With the MacBook lid closed and both external monitors connected, I get:
* 2560 x 1080 on the 29” HDR WFHD monitor
* 1920 x 1080 on the 22” Full HD monitor
One important thing to keep in mind: if you want to use three screens at the same time — two external monitors plus the MacBook screen — this setup will not work because the MacBook Air M3 does not support that configuration in this way.
I still need to test the SD card reader and PD charging, but based on my experience so far, this hub has worked perfectly.
Overall, great build quality, easy setup, reliable performance, and a very practical accessory for my MacBook. I definitely recommend it.

Solid, stable USB-C hub that works well with both Mac and Windows machines
Great dock that works well with with Mac and Windows, and seems to be able to handle anything I can throw at it. I've had other UGREEN combo video+usb dongles that really bogged down when I used the video port, however this one did not even break a sweat when pushing out 1080p@60fps from my MacBook while handling multiple USB inputs and outputs, power delivery, and ethernet all at the same time. Definitely would consider this to be some of the best value for money around on the budget-conscious side of the USB-C hub/dock market.

Hell yeah
Love this, except it only works for my ipad, for some reason, it only charges my Samsung phone, note it might be user error. I didn't really try to check what the problem was because I bought it to use on my ipad. I use it to play pubg, and it works pretty good.
