A complete fungus gnat treatment pack designed to help control fungus gnats at every stage of their lifecycle. This bundle contains a ready-to-use fungus gnat spray, yellow sticky traps, and beneficial nematodes to target both adult gnats and larvae in compost and potting soil.

What’s Included

  • 250ml Ready to Use Fungus Gnat Spray – Pre-mixed spray for treating soil and plant surfaces
  • 12 Yellow Sticky Traps – Double-sided traps for catching adult flying insects
  • Fungus Gnat Nematodes – Natural microscopic organisms that target fungus gnat larvae in soil

Complete Fungus Gnat Control

This treatment pack helps reduce fungus gnats around houseplants, greenhouse plants, conservatories, patio pots, and indoor growing areas. The spray works through physical contact on soil and plant surfaces, sticky traps capture adult flying insects, and nematodes target larvae living in compost to help break the breeding cycle.

  • Targets adult fungus gnats and larvae
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor plants
  • Ideal for houseplants, greenhouses, conservatories, and containers
  • Helps protect roots from fungus gnat larvae damage
  • Safe to use around pets and children when used as directed
  • Suitable for edible plants, herbs, fruit, and vegetables

250ml Ready to Use Fungus Gnat Spray

This pack contains the ready-to-use spray only and does not include the concentrate version. The pre-mixed formula is easy to apply directly to soil and plant surfaces without mixing.

  • Ready mixed for quick application
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Contains natural soaps and seaweed extract
  • Apply directly to soil and affected plant surfaces

Yellow Sticky Traps

The bright yellow traps naturally attract flying insects including fungus gnats, whiteflies, thrips, fruit flies, and winged aphids. Double-sided adhesive helps maximise trapping efficiency for ongoing protection.

  • 12 traps included
  • 6 sun-shaped and 6 butterfly-shaped designs
  • Double-sided non-drying adhesive
  • Suitable for homes, greenhouses, and conservatories

Fungus Gnat Nematodes

Fungus gnat nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) are applied with water directly to compost or potting soil where they actively target fungus gnat larvae. This natural treatment helps reduce future infestations by interrupting the breeding cycle.

  • Natural biological fungus gnat control
  • Targets larvae in compost and potting soil
  • Treats up to 12m²
  • Suitable for indoor plants, pots, planters, and greenhouse trays

Please note: Nematodes are a live perishable product with an expiry of approximately 2 weeks. Store refrigerated until use.

How To Use

  • Spray lightly onto soil and plant surfaces, including under leaves if needed
  • Place sticky traps into plant pots to catch adult flying insects
  • Mix nematodes with water and apply evenly to moist compost or soil
  • Repeat treatments regularly during warmer months or heavier infestations

Important Information

  • Do not spray very young plants
  • Avoid spraying in hot, bright conditions
  • Store spray in a cool place out of direct sunlight

Bought this as a gift for my father. He loved it. The book is really great for deep dive into the Bible history and origins. Highly recommend for people already familiar with the Bible and want to learn more. My dad said it was easy to understand.

A careful, scholarly work
Format: Hardcover
The introduction to this book does a great job of laying out the challenges of translating an ancient translation. It is not, however, aimed at people without a significant background in Hebrew, Greek and translation theory. I give credit to the authors of the introduction, Albert Pietersma and Benjamin G. Wright, for specifying the nature of the translation and its audience. Taken from Nida and Taber, _The Theory and Practice of Translation_ (Leiden: Brill, 1982), p. 31: "a translation in the present-day literary language, so as to communicate to the well-educated constituency." The translators chose this group "on the assumption that it is most probably this audience that has a more than passing interest in traditions of biblical literature other than their own" (p. xiv). I think they are right about this. "Translating an ancient text can only be described as a profoundly difficult undertaking.... "The difficulties of the undertaking are certainly not decreased when one attempts to translate an ancient translation into a modern language. If translating is an act of interpreting, as linguists suggest it is, rather than a simple transfer of meaning, a Greek interpretation of a Hebrew original can be expected to reflect what the translator understood the Hebrew text to mean. The end result is therefore inevitably to some degree a commentary written at a specific historical time and place by an individual person, whose understanding of the Hebrew will often have been at variance with our own, though at times perhaps equally viable." (p. xvi) Indeed, back when I was a linguist- and translator-in-training at the Summer Institute of Linguistics (early 1980s), I was taught the rather simplistic model of translation as a mere transfer of meaning. Experience, though, has taught me that this is virtually impossible. A text of any level of sophistication above that of a stop sign is full of cultural assumptions, lexical polysemy, syntactic ambiguity, and so forth. Any translation is perforce an interpretation. The only way to even begin to compensate for this, if the readers of the translations are not scholars trained in the relevant fields, is to include a massive set of footnotes. The average reader is just not going to take the time to read such a set of notes, even if they are included. The majority of traditional religious readers of a Bible translation are not prepared to deal with the challenges that such footnotes would present to their existing understanding of the text. The New English Translation of the Septuagint is aimed at those who already have at least some of the relevant scholarly background and are not averse to acquiring more.
