A ponytail palm has a steel bulb-like trunk and lush, long curly leaves. It is visually stunning and easy to look after, so making it a very popular houseplant!
Some tips for caring for a ponytail palm are:
- it prefers bright light (but will cope happily if kept in lower light conditions for half the year and brighter light for the other half!); and
- it prefers semi-dry conditions so let the soil dry out significantly in between watering.

Delivery Info:
We accept orders Monday to Friday with deliveries Monday to Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays. For deliveries on a required date, we need to receive your order by 3pm the previous day. We are not yet able to provide same day delivery - if this is required, please do not place an on-line order but do call us on +1 213 705 2240 and we will do our best to help you. Please note that we have to be very strategic with our delivery routes and for this reason, we do not offer time slots. We are also only able to deliver within the central LA areas at the moment, specifically the neighborhoods and zip codes listed in our Where we deliver page.
Please include the delivery instructions when placing your order. Please advise where we should place the plant if the recipient is not at home. Please include any special delivery instructions. Please also include any message in the box provided on the order form. We never give out the sender's name so if you want the recipient to know who the plant is from, please put your name in the message!
